You need an M1 for that bud. If you get pulled over that shit is getting towed. I’m in CA and ride a 50cc metropolitan. Guarantee you that you need an M1, not even an M2. Check the dmv website if you don’t believe me. (M2 is for mopeds with pedals)

How may miles do you drive on an average day? Looking at an electric moped but doubt three range is enough
My issue with this is that I live in South FL, where everyone drives fast and like shit. The speed limit here varies from 35 to 50 on the street.
Same thing in Tampa. 35 to 55 mph. Did you find a scooter that works? I went to Yamaha and looked for zuma 125

Ive got a few scooters for recreation and short errands but thinking of using one or an e-bike for food delivery. Biggest concern is with delivery apps going to areas the bike could be stolen in. At least with an e-bike you can take it with you to the delivery point like in an apartment complex for example so it’s less likely to get boosted. Also no registration, license or expensive parts to replace. Scooter tires are expensive to install and not easy and last about 5k miles.
anthony - you cant always take an ebike in a building nor would you want to as the weight and dealing with it is a pain if theres stairs and your bike is heavy and bulky.
a light bicycle is one thing but light ebikes with large capacity dont exist and a light ebike is usually still about 45-50 lbs short of the few that are in the 30's.
a scooter is like 300 lbs and has a key, chances of it getting stolen or even a bike on a quick drop off are very low.
if your bike gets stoilen on the job, it will more likely be via random attack or when youre in some place waiting on food. outside a building gate when they know youre prob coming right back, super unlikely, theyd pretty much have to be waiting for it or a set up.
scooters usually get stolen when left overnight but that shouldnt be a problem for someone with a few scooters who likely has a garage or yard to park.
bikes are much easier to deal with and thus will disappear much faster.

Do you get hired by doordash / uber ?or you have 3rd party company that have an agreement with them and then you pay a small fee to them. (this is how it works in europe tho)

Parking, traffic, gas costs, maintenance. Scooter has lower costs.
