That shadow guy pulling the strings is really interesting to me. I can only assume his name is “Level DOWN” because of the arrow pointing down on his chest and how much he resembles Level UP.

The part I liked is when a lot of Toad guards came out, because Bowser came for the Mushroom Kingdom.
There is a reference to the Super Mario Bros. Movie at 1:48 “Open the gates!”, it was at the beginning of the movie at the Ice Kingdom when Bowser went to the Ice Castle.
Yeah. I get that reference.
The fact Bowser didn't just say it's Luigi makes me think there's going to be a lot of misunderstandings in the next episode. "Why would Luigi attack us? This is one of your tricks again, Bowser!" Then Luigi destroys half the Mushroom Kingdom army right away.
At least should have told them that Luigi is possessed and the demon will control him when he got red eyes; if Luigi's himself, he simply enjoys using these abilities.

@@petersilie304 It looks like Bowser didn't have the time to explain anything. He knew the possessed Luigi was on his way, so he probably didn't try explaining because it would've wasted valuable time for raising their defenses.

Luigi defeats them all without breaking a sweat, only pausing for a moment when Mario is the only one left, before remembering all the times Mario had beaten him mercilessly, and SMASHES him into the distance. Then we see Level UP making a desperate final plan. Possibly even involving Weegie, I dunno.

Glad to see you didn't as it's often shown; either they don't get warning that the threat is in disguise of their friends or that the evil has already broken the defenses and is hiding inside while the others prepare themselves.

I'm not seeing enough appreciation for making Ala-Gold part of the main team alongside Buckenberry and Toadette in this video, a lotta people tend to forget about his existence nowadays thanks to Mario Maker. Also, shoutout to Sir Buppington from MarioCraft, cool to see him make a return.
This should be sequel to the sequel of the Super Mario Movie.
