White never quite fit in with the bully ball tactics at Connecticut. She is savvy, smart, capable and an absolute winner. She also seems like a good person. I believe her hands were tied with the style of play and the attitude of The Sun. People above her ran that ship...along with Thomas and Bonner. Seems all of this had a play in her wanting out early. Yup, she's destined to be at the Fever, and I have a vision of her leading them to the Championship. You're also spot on about Sides. She did a great job at the parts that she was capable of these past two years, but she was in over her head this past season and would be even more so in 2025. The Fever are definitely in "win now" mode. Waiting an extra year, I believe, would be a mistake. Sure, there are unknowns like the CBA, but capitalizing on Caitlin's readiness and marketability NOW will outweigh any potential negatives from those unknowns. Not to mention, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, who are also ready now. Kelsey's not getting any younger, either. She's at her peak TODAY. GO FEVER!!
All these things your saying in honesty is down to Clark, thats why she disses CC, watched her congratulate CC on winning ROY is was like she was chewing a wast and in contrast watch when she her congratulate Boston the differance is striking. Sides has tried to bring CC game down you cannot build a team round the star player if the coach doesnt want to plus she hasnt got a clue about defence. Please stop saying shes a strong coach some of the glaring mistakes she made and there was a lot of them. And finally she has never supported or attempted to protect CC. New coach incoming.

Sides got in the refs’ faces every time CC got mauled, went to the commish to get the perpetrators fined and suspended and kicked out of the league, set plays all season long for CC, told the team, in order for the team to rest while on the court with the game was still going on, to slow the game down in order to control it after the team built double digit leads during the run-and-gun CC style of play, like clock work she called timely time outs to stop opponents’ scoring runs, and gave crucial minutes to non productive players so their feelings wouldn’t get hurt because bench warmers need to feel useful, wanted, and happy! What a kind soul and great coach C Sides really is, so much so I’m about to cry just thinking about it!🥹………😢……..😭
Christie Sides and her staff did a phenomenal job this past season. She and her staff deserve raises and Christie should have been the WNBA Coach of the Year. If the officiating had been even half way fair with Caitlin Clark and the Fever, they would have easily won 5 more games. Instead of 20-20 and a 6th seed in the playoffs the Fever would have finished 25-15 with the #4 seed in the playoffs. With a 25-15 record Sides would have been a lock for COY and then all of the naysayers would to shut up and stop talking about firing an outstanding young coach,

I don't know what Sides did behind the scenes but it would have been nice to see more of CC own team protect her.
