The way John Cena tossed Cody into Randy Orton for the RKO was 100% excellent. Also, Rest In Peace, Umaga.
Rip
this style of content is fire, going back and looking at old storylines and whatnot
You were one of the last people I would've expected to see here
Dumpy u should react to wresltelamia it would be so funny 💀
DUMPY!!!!
DUMPY??!!?
Dumpy?????
John Cena and Randy Orton are a perfect duo as enemies and as a team
they were superhumans
Especially Cena😂
This match makes me appreciate the roster we have today. Don't get me wrong I'm not talking about their talent or abilities but their credibility. There is not a single chance you can pull this today and make it look credible and fun. Meanwhile as you said it looked like JC and Randy had the advantage all along
Considering the match pretty much only used jobbers and lower mid carders, the only credible opponents were umaga and jbl, they probably could still do this today with reigns and Seth and have it go pretty much the same
09-11 was such a weird time to watch WWE but I cherish it so much. So much star power. You knew the entire roster and their theme songs
there were good moments, but it sucked overall. Even as a kid i realized it wasn't as good as it used to be. There are still some things about this era that were far better that today's product for sure though.
@@infinite-sadness I agree. The matches weren’t great and the booking of Cena, Orton or HHH constantly in boring matches in the main event of PPVs had you tearing your hair out at times but that roster to me was so good.
I don’t buy into these superstars as much. They all mould into the same generic model besides Sami, Roman, Cody and Styles.
This eras great and we’ve got great matches and story telling under HHH but in another 20 years I think people will still talk about guys like Undertaker, Edge, Mysterio, Kane, Cena, Orton, HHH, HBK, Jericho etc. more so than guys like Gable, Wyatt, Lashley, Omos, Drew etc.
@@goofysmp The shows all feel the same with the same boring stages, the main titles all look the same, they gave most of the roster shitty royalty free beats instead of investing in their characters by giving them memorable entrances. Everything besides a handful of outliers just feels lame.
To this day I'm still shocked Randy retained at Mania. Really believed Vince was going to make Super Cena win at Mania again.
Is it me or do I see Drew McIntyre in the match card of this match he debuted a year later in wwe😂😂
He was advertised on the match card. I noticed that
@@Moonrise840 very bizarre
I lowkey thought that was Brian Kendrick
@@thefreshedits9841 look closely
He was on Smackdown in 2007 with Dave Taylor as his mentor
This concept of talking about some infamous matches and some storylines is really great!
I wish we had such videos a lot more!
Thanks for the content, TheGreatOne!
That Triple H shovel entrance in 2K had me busting my ribs with laughter.
John Cena & Randy Orton really are
Goku & Vegeta
This could definitely be a series. Take a look at the best and worst matches from WWE. My pick is the survivor series 2016 match
It's amazing to me how much i missed. 2008 was definitely around the time my watching of wrestling became sporadic. My family used to run a DVD shop back then and we had weekly Raw, Smackdown and New PPVs withing easy access all the time. Around this time we switched businesses because DVDs were dying out. Everyone got better Internet and the access to on screen entertainment widened to a scope my small town in a small country had never seen before.
I never even realised how lapsed my Wrestling watching had become but it had. After that I mostly tuned into the PPVs and I had to torrent them on my own, I missed most storylines and then 2011 came along.
Edge retired, Cena and Punk had their bullshit and once it was all over I was left with nothing worth really watching in WWE anymore. So I stopped. This last year post Extreme Rules WWE has finally managed to pull me back in. Let's see it this will stick.
they had paul londons pic on there and he wasnt event in the match lmao 🤣
The Ruthless Agression era had it's boss moments and it was one of them.
Alternative title for the match, 'Randy Orton and John Cena bury the entire Raw roster'.
Did John face drew
I don’t think so…
Not even once
This was when I started getting tired of WWE from what I remember. It was just too much, you basically buried your entire roster for two guys. I didn't care for Randy Orton during this super push period where they did everything possible to put him over.
Their could be no equivalent today because Roman Reigns has no Randy Orton to his John Cena, the entire roster has been buried to make his lame ass look good so there isn’t a believable cast built around him
Omg!! This match wasn't a dream
Should do more vids like this, was great bro 💯
0:10 ITs NoT a DoLL ItS An aCtIoN FiGuRe!
Compared to new belt design this spinner belt designs look better but I still think both belts suck.
Would be cool if you talked about that episode when the whole roster walked out of Raw in 2011 and HHH, Cena, Punk and Sheamus were the only people present
I wasn't born yet in 2 months before.
Please continue this kind of content. Nostalgia matches from Ruthless Aggression/early PG era.
I really wouldn’t mind seeing more of these 👍
Itachi and sasuke
Keep this up. I like this idea, call it "random match review" or something along those lines
I hope this becomes a series!
I miss these days, wrestling peaked at this point. You never realise how good it is until it’s too late
I'm watching this video on my big screen😁👍
Npc
i like these types of videos keep going
I really liked this throwback video was really enjoyable
Big coco jumbo vibes
John Cena is my favorite wrestler. The WWE Spinner belt is my favorite championship
Keep Making These Kind Of Video TheGreatOne
0:25 I can noticed TheGreatOne! was the best student of math

The Stone Cold and Rock of the late ruthless aggression era and early PG era
I was in 5th grade. It’s ALL we talked about at recess
يا ليتني ممرض يا يمة مالك زعلان يا the great one ?
3:26 look how young these guys looked compare to now lol, we're getting old 😂 😅 🤣
i had them in a stable in smackdown vs. raw so i was extremely excited
Hulk Hogan & Macho Man
Stone Cold & The Rock
Cena & Orton
If im wrong, correct me.
I like this concept of classic moment of previous years
I remember when they would do 2 guys vs the ECW roster. Nunzio, balls Mahoney, and Stevie richards would always fuck it up for everyone
The Beat em up Raw
Triple H was the final boss
Well Goku and Vegeta aren't exactly Rivals but I see you're point
Man I remember this, I used to buy blank VHS tapes back then and record raw and smackdown so I could go back and watch them when I was bored, I had a huge box full of them and wrote down the dates on each one
Need more vids like this 🔥
Ofc a match on raw in 08 ran by vince would end in a dq😂😂😂😂😂😂
Good stuff here great one
Back to playing with my alaxa bliss doll
Imagine this happened with Roman and Cody
The RKOs in this match were beautiful
W video, U should do more videos like this
I remember that night John Cena & WWE Champion Randy Orton Facing The Male Locker Room at the CajunDome where it would be my First Raw Event right beside my brothers at that time
Hacksaw Jim Duggan wrestling at that period of time was more obvious to me than Val Venis. He wasn't on TV anyway. Maybe that moments out of a camera were when he fell in love of cannabis and idiotic conspiracies
Loved this vid
Bruh this storyline is literally what I would do with my toys when I was like 8
64 milion people are the same who live in Italy
i miss WWE from this time, mid 2000's and late 2000's WWE is my fav, love that spinner belt too, i remember having a replica of it, also great video you should do more of these
Roman and Seth vs entire sd roster
they should have gunther instead of Seth, but it would still be fire
Wtf Draw Mcintyre is on the poster in 2008?
The great one can you cover the match where Stephanie drugged Shawn Michaels and he had to wrestle Shane and he was like selling the effects during the match that’s still to me a crazy outrageous idea and would really be a funny video
Gosh man Randy with that title he looks just amazing 🤩. Makes the title look somewhat decent. But I really loved Randy burn in light 💡 just lit theme song
Remember the shield VS raw roster?
now you just gotta review the roman reigns one vs all match
Man normally in my country Wwe airs around Saturday and Sunday
I was 13 watching this live via tv this was amazing that night
I like this type of content. Your like a teacher explaining to kids the history of these events but instead. You are that cool teacher that people pay attention too. 😊
that time brock and cody almost teamed up
Back then i see there are the next rock and stone cold the feud the match
Damn greatone you been lifting?
It was very fun match tbh I liked it
The shield vs 11 people or whatever was my favorite
Love these types of videos great one u should do more
JOHN CENA
TRIPLE H
RANDYORTON
Bro I remember watching this match as a kid and getting so hyped when Randy and John combined their finishers to take out the roster. Good times, man!
There was the time here in Brazil that aired WWE on TV for short time. And it was one of most iconic matches for Brazilian fans
Shield vs 11 was what I remember
Did you hear about the return of king of the ring
😀
U should really do these kinda videos on random matches that we've forgotten about

So glad to see mark again love
could u review edge vs mick wrestlemaina
2:26 he still calls him “Villiam Regal”😂
I like these types of videos
i was 4yrs old by that time
Man! I wish this is 2006-08 and thegreatone is doing weekly raw and smackdown review.. this is the era i grew up
The roster was Limited then. Compared to 2021 or 2016
@@kalvinbaber5484 the less, the better 😁
This is a great one classic. ❤️
