I, too, love Hans Christian Andersons' work. As a little side note, i believe Cami lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. I plan on visiting her yarn shop if my son can take me. It's his favorite vacation destination, and he's been there many times, taking me once. There are some significant yarn shops that I will map out if I'm lucky enough to go. I have so been looking forward to Vlogmas this year. October and November were pretty rough (and December started out VERY unpleasantly). I'm so glad I get to sit with you and Kate and Sandra (Cherry Heart podcast) and Dianne (Suburban Stitcher) for a few minutes each day to make my December a bit brighter :) Even if I don't celebrate Christmas, I do look forward to this each year!
I bought the same paper Advent calendar and I sent it to my brothers and my sister because it reminded me of the one we had growing up. I loved opening it up yesterday and today. It is lovely.

I just remembered about vlogmas this morning and had to check in on you as soon as possible. Last year and this year I am so busy studying for my Bachelors of Counselling that I don’t have time to get into the Christmas spirit other than making sure my kids have everything they need to make the day cosy and sweet, but your videos give me a window back into the season that is so special ❤ after I graduate in July, my goal will be to make next years holidays one to remember 🙂

During my trip to Dublin last week I picked up the Irish Baking Book, went on your bus tour and held my first baby lamb (just nine days old) have most of your holiday cooking books and just now added the mug tree that was sold out last year. This goes without saying how much I love all of your leather products which I have been saving like good china but am now going to use the heck out of after seeing you recently post someone who was really utilizing it which displayed how lovely it was waring. Your Project Bag releases I set a timer for to grab before they sell out! Happy Holidays and thank you for making me feel so inspired and feeling the joy of holiday tradition.

I just start with a bit of butter, add flour and then gradually add milk stirring constantly to thicken up. I think I may have followed an old recipe by Giada. :). Then I add pasta water to thin it out if I need it. xoxo
