Group 1- the advice towards the end is so helpful to me( as are many of the other things you say). So my ex just keeps trying to come back into my life to the point where I end up questioning my decision of leaving him in the first place. We have different political beliefs and he has staunch religious beliefs but whenever I tell him about my spirituality or anything related to it he always tells me that I should be utilising my time doing better things instead. This made me realize that I shouldn't share these things with him cuz he makes me feel like I'm crazy, this lack of understanding led me to end things between us but yesterday he texted a long paragraph saying how much he misses me and I felt so bad that I almost felt like giving him another chance but now I know better that this would be a never ending cycle.
