Yes, It is possible to achieve what you have mentioned. It would be little complex. With use of selectedvalue, Bookmarks, calendar table it can be done.
Two years ago was this video posted and still being useful, thank you! Do you have any advice to make it more dynamic? in the way where I can change the month to week, day o quarter?
I'm Glad it was helpful. Please feel free to drop me a detailed email and with some sample data if possible. We can try to achieve what you are looking for.
Hi Reema, I'm glad it helped. You can try using DAX "previousday". Link given below. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/previousday-function-dax Thank you for watching!
Hi actually when trying to show percentage in card it shows 0 or "Infinity" I don't know why it's not dynamic for previous day can you help @@AchieversDataEngineering
Hi @Jem, yes this can be done without slicer as well. However arrows will change only when data changes. For example you have setup the arrows based on monthly number change then arrows will update only once in a month. But if you have setup arrows for daily data changes then arrows will update on daily basis. Hope it helps!
Great explaination but that arrows and text only cards are going away and those are disappearing when you hover on it.. So that is the issue right, what is the Sol for thst
Hi @bajigunturu1178 , While you are setting these objects in proper order using send back or bring front options, turn on the option to "maintain Layer order" too, it will work. You can also group them after arranging them in proper order. Thank you for watching.
Thank you! To create fiscal year, we can define fiscal year month end in calendar Auto DAX, and then create a calculated column for YYYY-YY as per our requirement. Thank you for watching. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/calendarauto-function-dax
Thank you for super detailed explanaations. I have a question: Can we do the comparison for yearly but it should be able to change based on different months? For example I want to compare 2023 values for the first 6 months with the same period in 2022: 2022 January-June vs 2023 January-June I hope I could explain my question clearly.
Hi @AliKaya, Yes, certainly we can do that. You can play around with the DAX by defining the Date range you want to compare. You can also pass a date range via slicers. You may get some idea by watching this video - ua-cam.com/video/o1aBWfubjj8/v-deo.html Please let me know in case any challenge. Thank you for watching!
Hi @Swapna, You can set the color of Arrow using rules. Select Arrow-- go to format pan--- select callout value --- click fx for color- define a color rule based on a measure (percentage value). Let me know if it worked for you or if you need any further help.
Hi bro.. Thanks.. Good one.. You have placed a card inside a card.. How to retain the other card when we click/select the main card.. My requirement is to show both cards if I select main card also.. Thanks
this is great! the only issue I had was that the up and down arrows would not paste into my formula bar. It gave me the unknown character box with a question mark in it... do you know how to enable this to work? or perhaps a reason why it's happening
Thank you, Chase! You have copied ↓ ↑ arrows from the word file? please check you might have copied any additional space or any character. You can try coping from this comment and use it. Please do let me know if you still face this challenge.
@@AchieversDataEngineering aha! Copying them from your comment above worked. I was using a Word file, but maybe it was because I used different arrows than yours. I didn't see them available in my symbol choices. But it's all good now! Thanks again!

Really useful. How can you achieve this without a slicer but just showing the latest data?
