It's crazy to think the original is several years old. To this day, this is the greatest AMV ever made. Each $B song fits perfectly with each phase of their fight, and the cuts themselves perfectly express how intricate and diverse the fight was. We had high level ninjutsu/taijutsu, god-level transformation, throwback taijutsu to the chunin exams, straight up slow and brutal street fighting, then finally the last attack carried by the souls of everyone that have touched their lives. The little detail of Itachi being the only hand guiding Sasuke is pure kino.
Great War Arc was really squirrelly and ass-pull-y at times, but the series still ended on an amazing high note imo. The final fight (and its resolution/aftermath) was everything it needed to be, and Pierrot did an amazing job animating it all.
this edit will FOREVER be my favorite. I used to watch this on loop for hours, having it in the background and all that. And this remake just made it better
i remember watching this on repeat nonstop, still love it, even more now with the remake of their fistfight, much more personal. and those battle cries at 4:17 gave me chills with the new effects you added amazing work like always
