If we win the national championship think about this epic playoff run the teams we beat earlier this season that were in the CFP Indiana, Penn State, Tennessee, Oregon Texas and Notre Dame if we cap it off, maybe one of the best Ohio State teams ever even without a win against that team up north and a Big Ten championship?
Riley Leonard is an average passer and good runner ??? Well Dillon Gabriel was an excellent passer and runner and look where that got Oregon. The truth is doesn’t matter WHAT Notre Dame does it ALL depends on what Ohio State does once the foot hits the ball.
Very good player. Great to seeing him play so much in the playoffs. on the Texas drive where they got to the 1 yard line he committed a PI. Was that bad or since it saved a TD, was it actually a great play?? Weird to think about.
The Keys to Ohio State winning the National Championship will be this: 1.) Offensively: THROW THE FOOTBALL early and often to Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka, and Carnell Tate. Have several great offensive game plans to get them the ball early and often in the First & Second halves. If we can succeed in this, that will set us up nicely to really be able to utilize the run game with Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson because Notre Dame's defense will be so focused on trying to cover Smith, Egbuka, and Tate that it should present itself to open up some big plays for Judkins, and Henderson. 2.) Defensively: BLITZ A LOT this game. Jack Sawyer, Tyleik Williams, Ty Hamilton, and JT Tuimolau will need to give it all they have get to Riley Leonard as quickly as possible all night long. Bring no mercy for him to scramble and take off. He's a runner and will definitely try to utilize his legs on those 3rd & 3 or less situations. Or anytime he sees an open field to run. Force him to throw the football in uncomfortable situations. This will most likely result in him throwing a few interceptions to either Sonny Styles, Cody Simon, Jordan Hancock, Lathan Ransom, Denzel Burke/Jermaine Mathews Jr. Caleb Downs, or Davison Igbinosun. Obviously all those guys will be ready to defend every inch of the football field in this game and I expect will be playing the best game we have seen all year. 3.) Special Teams: Jayden Fielding will need to be ready for anything and everything that gets presented to him in this game. He will need to be ready for a situation that could present being down by 2 with 5 seconds left to kick a 50 yard field goal to win it. The point I'm trying to be very clear on is he needs to be ready for all crazy types of situations. Practice a ton of 40, and 50+ yard field goals this week with loud noise etc. simulating exactly what could happen. (We all remember Noah Ruggles at the Peach Bowl in 2022 with 3 seconds left. in the same stadium) That missed Field goal had it been made, There's a 99.9% chance we could have 9 National Championship banners hanging up in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Joe McGuire- Continue to boot the football far down the field. In the times we need to punt, make sure we execute with some deep boots pinning Notre Dame far back so they have to work the full length of the field to get a touchdown/field goal. Lastly.. BUCKEYE NATION- Let's show up and be loud as possible like I know we will. We need to send a message as Buckeye fans. Get LOUD! If we execute with this game plan and do everything we can to win this one we will be National Champions raising a National Championship banner in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. With this said, O-H GO BUCKS!!!
Another KEY POINT 🔑 I forgot to mention is BE SMART.. DO NOT let the emotions of the game/crap talk get to your head to do something stupid. Play smart. We CANNOT HAVE ANY COSTLY PENALTIES because we don’t have our heads on. You have to know that there is going to be a lot of crap talk in this game. Play physical- but be smart and methodical. PENALTIES COST GAMES.. In this case it’s a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. BE SMART…
At this level in the CFP, each team needs to play their best every game. I believe some of the Buckeye's penalties and mistakes were made up by individual's physicality and experience. We cannot rely on that too often. Coaches need to find ways to get our freshman receiver open!! Texas did a great job (not for us) to limit his catches! Coaches need to fix that!!! Go Buckeyes!!!
Go Bucks !! Don't just beat them but pound them !! The talent level of both teams is not even close !! Oregon would definitely be favored in this game by a td over ND. A complete game by Ohio st would be a total beat down 😮
How could Ryan Day not be happy he’s been trashed by his own fan base and totally disrespected he gets no credit for anything everyone keeps saying he has the most talented team but Ryan Day recruited and developed that talent and put together that coaching staff. I’m not an Ohio State fan but I’m rooting for him. If there is anyone who deserves this it’s him.
Dude ND beat UGA by 10 and UGA beat Texas twice, once with a backup QB. ND is much better than Texas. I don't know why so many people are disrespecting ND so much.
Osu i s the greasiest Program in College Football for Knowing all the illegal Shit Jim Tressel did And also Knew about Urban Meyer asst Coach abusing his wife
@ I was obviously being hyperbolic Notre Dame will not beat themselves they are a very worthy opponent. I don’t give much credence to beating Georgia because Georgia was more reputation this season than production. This Georgia team has big strong offensive linemen that aren’t going to be confused with athletic. The Georgia offense was putrid all season and the team culture is less than the two championship teams playing on the 20th. I still stand by Ohio State should roll Notre Dame because Texas is the only team that matched up with Ohio State in size , speed and athleticism.
@@andrewmueller9986I don’t think they are transitive property doesn’t mean anything. Michigan beat Ohio State and Texas went into Michigan and beat the life out of them. Texas had the talent and depth to match Ohio State
With the 12-team playoff, college football now resembles an NFL season. Learn from it. At the end of the season everyone is banged up. The decisive factors are better coaching, better QB and better play calling. That's what separates the winners from the losers. PEACE
The Ohio State O-line can't play like a bunch of clowns. Drive killing penalties. Also T Henderson can't be baited into personal foul penalty which stopped drive #2. #67 in the second half, can't hear the whistle? Gained 15 yards on that play, nope. Thanks A. Siereveld, wake the eeff up! Another series, a Fryar hold and illegal proceedure on Montgomery stops another drive. W. Howard got baited into the interception. Judkins and the O-line whiffed on 3rd & 1 in the 2nd half. Texas played ok but Ohio State mistakes limited their ability to score more points. Also if the offense gets to 2nd 3 or 3rd and 1 near midfield or in plus territory, the shots to Jeremiah will happen.

I'm tired of think about that team up there. That crud is over and forgotten.
all of the top 8 besides georgia.
1. oregon
3. texas
4. penn state
5. notre dame
6. ourselves against michigan
7. tenn
8. indiana
Best team of all time !!!! 😁
Thanks gentlemen 🎉
GO BUCKS😤💯
The Jack SACK... that's what you call what Sawyer did. You're welcome Spencer 😂🎉
Good one
Today's Jack Sawyer mean mean pride 🎶

Jermaine Mathew would be a starter on 99% of the teams in college football.
100% you mean

@ he’s not afraid of the moment for certain.
Jermaine Mathews has that cb confidence/arrogance that you need if you want to perform big in big games

100%. A tackle named Payne who was good for ND most of the season is out with injury.

I think Ryan Day was so happy after the Cotton Bowl because he knows that they can boat race ND.

Lets talk about 2020 when the committee all said no way we will let them in with just 6 games played until Osu paid them off

YES!!!!!. Thank you guys for getting it - that celebration is rat poison.
ND will try to turn this into an UGLY SLOW IN BOX GAME like Michigan - OSU needs to come out firing like against Tennessee & Oregon‼️

Need to cut down on penalties and play clean.
We must be very aggressive against Notre Dame in get a 21-point lead then we will beat them we must get that big lead on them not make it close
Third place game and the Championship game already happened.
cant think like that. team will lose with mentality

Tim already rambles. If that isn't already FAR more than enough, he constantly interrupts nonsensically.
Please cut that neck-beard. You're scaring my children😂
Hate to break it to you Tim May Seinfeld is not funny. Horrible TV show! What happen to your Wendy’s? Sponsor… 💰
