Grafting a Orange branch on Lemon Tree by Cleft grafting | Grafting Citrus Trees | Grafting Plants

- This is an orange with a branch that I bought at the supermarket. I cut off its branches with scissors and grafted onto a lemon tree. I use the simplest grafting method - cleft grafting. After months of waiting, to my surprise, the grafted orange branches survived, not only did branches and leaves grow, but some branches even bloomed!
In general, as long as the plant branches are still alive, there is a possibility of grafting to survive. Friends who like it can try it.

Subhan allah very nice effort we wait alot of much from you
Use Ammonium Sulfate, Ammonium Phosphate or Citrus Food fertilizer. The amount of fertilizer needed per year depends on the age, the size, and the type of tree. For example, a medium-sized adult tree 5-6 years after planting needs 6.2 pounds of Ammonium Sulfate per year (split into three applications).
I just bought a Florida Hamlin orange 3 year old tree. Plan is to graph a different orange each year for 4 years. It will be labor of love!

Now my question is what will be the taste of a orange sweet or lemon sour taste?
The fruit will just take on the scion's(top part) original properties.
The rootstock(bottom) is there for it's roots (it's ability to draw nutrients, resistance to diseases and other things with relation to the root system.)
Excellent 👌

GRAFTING is toll roads in the world of traffic, and acceleration classes in the world of education With GRAFTING, it is hoped that at the age of 2-3 years, the tree will be productive, Insyaallah..
At the moment we are also incessantly doing DURIAN GRAFTING in our area...
We have replaced several trees with premium durian species, We have documented some of them on our UA-cam channel
what is masyallah?
Will it give you lemon or orange fruit after it bloomed?
At top oranges
Can i use your video
What is the season of grafting for orange and Lemon tree?
Spring
Will try this , it’s spring here in Australia now ,fingers crossed I get it right this time . 👍😊
When , within the year, did you do this?
Spring
After grafting when we will get fruits
The only sane answer is "it depends". A better question is "What factors affect how soon a graft will produce fruit?". Some answers to that include, how fast the graft wound healed, the temperature/sunlight/climate your grafting species prefers to flower at, pollination, etc.
Wich is the best time for orange grafting on stris, I mean in Wich month/ dates. Thanks

I wish people would just talk. It’s an instructional video. Not a music video 😤
Grafting an orange onto a lemon is not appropriate. Why? Because the lemon has a smaller growth than the orange and mainly the "acidity" will get into the orange,is the golden rule
that should a sour-fruited citrus be grafted to a sour-fruited type. There are rootstocks that affect little or nothing.
if the gardener has proven that this rootstock does not affect the graft, it is possible to graft it😉lemon is prone to overwatering and must be at a higher temperature than orange, so this can only be recommended in warmer areas where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees
This was my question: how do you determine what is the appropriate tree to graft to or from?
@@sherrylynn3304 You can graft any type of citrus onto any other type of citrus. I recommend just trying it and finding out. The worst case scenario is it somehow changes the flavor of the graft fruit to something you don't like, as OP claims could happen to an orange getting more sour. My question is, so what? It might end up being amazing. You never know for sure unless you try. If you don't like it, you now have a much bigger graft branch you can now transfer to whatever you feel is a more appropriate rootstock. Gotta be ok with "failing" in order to learn anything; the only real failure is to be too afraid to try.
@@TheRealHonestInquiry thank you.
