Torque to yield bolts like the ones used on the rockers are not to be reused. If you replace the crush washers, you will not have to mess with the silicone.
If I order your cam, spring retainers and springs from you, is there anything else I need? I’m currently running JP stage one, oil catch can, air intake and solas 13/18. Running 2020 RXTX 300. Also have fizzle piping, no blow off valve and no fizzle intercooler. Just looking for a little more top end but want it reliable, not sure if I need another tune or I can leave it as is with JP stage one flash that was done. Great video and eager to tackle this upgrade myself. I probably watched this video 10 times to make sure I didnt miss anything on install. 😂
What colour spring is in the tial? Can't be yellow if it's open on idle..? Only asking as I'm not sure what colour spring to use for mine. I have 142 wheel
How much pressure in the air hose do you use? Do you have a regulator on the compressor? Bc I’ve seen were to much air can go in and push on the engine and rotate it. Also seen where people lock the engines up in some way from spinning.
Hello , I did my cam too and I forgot to put it on time and lock it before pulling the cam out . When I put everything together I broke all three bolts from the cam . What else can happen to the engine by me doing that ? I’m waiting for the bolts and put it back on is there anything for me to check ? Thanks
He didn't specify in the video so I'll clarify: I suggest you do not reuse TTY (torque to yield) bolts like the rocker shaft bolts if you are not familiar on how to measure them for stretch. The rocker shaft bolts are notorious for breaking when reused because their yield range is really small if the torque angle step is done just a bit over by seadoo or yourself. I've measured every one I removed from factory skis and find more than 25% are stretched past the old manual reusable limit before seadoo changed the manuals to say just buy new every time they are removed. I never reuse them on customer skis but keep the "good" ones for myself because I'm a cheapass.
Great video as always and super clean ski!! @Calas the cam gear bolts would the 21 and up bolts be a good upgrade for a 260hp engine ? Or better to use ARP bolts or 12.9 Allen head bolts ?
I believe you’ll still have fuel in the line even if the pump it’s not running. You’ll have to disconnect the hose to the fuel rail. It’s easier to just disconnect the injectors and avoid the gas smell and the mess. 👍🏻
El problema es que el tuneo no esta bien i en Baja los RPM suven y bajan quando eso pasa el voltaje suve y baja la computadora no le justa porque no es bueno para el IBR entonce de da la luz del IBR Mi español no es muy bueno
Ernesto, this is the best yet. Absolutely fascinating. Thank you.
Should come to Gold Coast Australia one day mate. Its Flordria but 100x better on the water with all Canals etc! Another Great video tho!
Really detailed instructions. You are upping your game on how to videos. Thanks. Of course you want us all to order a camshaft!😀
Excellent instructions, thanks
Once of the driver returns, just put on your PFDs, climb aboard and hit the water.
Another great vid Calas!
Thank you for this video full of great information.!!
U are the best..I watch all your videos. I'm from Chicago. Your a funny guy. 😂
This chain thing is funny 😂

Really Nice Video~👍👍👍
17:20 it would be a good idea to use that foam piece to prevent the washer from droppin in the motor
Yes, I forgot to put it on good point
Do you need to upgrade the flywheel bolts with the modification too?
@@DevonSpittleREAL yes

very important don't drop this washer while shaking it over the hole lol Ernesto knows suspense
buen trabajo calas ! espectacular
If you used some foamy to for the front washer?? Is safer to…big foamy 😅
I usually put the foam there, but when I was filming, I totally forgot 🤷♂️🤣😂

Only asking as I'm not sure what colour spring to use for mine.
I have 142 wheel
If you have a Fizzle kit, you’re fine this particular client end up changing the spring later for one that was not open on idle

I’ve never seen an engine spin over since I’ve been doing this

This is a good tip 👍
I missed that one🤦♂️
How do these run with stock SC, does it make a big difference? worth doing?
Yes, big difference and it’s worth it
Great video as always and super clean ski!!

21 and up are good
Thank you sir 🙌🏼
Will injectors dump fuel if fuel pump is not running

The reason why I say that is because after everything is done, I like to spin the motor so everything gets lubricated without the motor running
First….08 rxpx 255 stage 3+
Would this cam be ok to use on a 230 motor with your CALAS valve springs and titanium retainers?
Yes
Thank you and are the superchargers the same on the 230 as the 300 would it be safe to do a 300 tune with your cam?
Would love to know how much this would be if I brought my seadoo to you.
It’s actually not that much money for what you getting
Saludos Ernesto. Que tiene que ver el IBR con el camshaft.. instale uno y estoy teniendo problemas con el IBR. Te ha pasado? Gracias

Eso es todo en el tuneo. Ya hicieron un episodio hablando de eso.

He washes and dries engine and uses Yamaha lube for what? Sprays the engine with it? I use 2R Yamalube in all my 2 strokes but you lost me here.
