this will be the first set i've ever completed. i started collecting cards when i was 7 and i have never finished a set. am 25 now.
Congrats. It’s actually also the first set I completed . I am missing the one full art zam from 151 . You should collect 151 I think the master set will be worth a lot ten years down the road

I've ripped so many of these packs. I would say the ETBs are the way to go over singles. I haven't opened a booster box so I can't attest to them but I've had really poor luck ripping singles. I'm basically just chasing the Bulbasaur and Squirtle cards now that I have the Hydrapple SIR. The Crabominable card is pretty awesome too even though that Pokemon is a nightmare monster.
I’ve opened 6 etbs and pulled 75% of the set I’d say, just chasing the rares at this point

For anyone wondering the pull rate is 36.8% which is pretty good but not as good as twilight masquerade with 37.5%

I'm not a fan of how he just skips all of the other cards, even the regular holographic cards. It's like those cards don't even matter anymore. One of my favorite cards in this set, which I was lucky enough to get this past weekend on my first opening of this set, is that holographic Noctowl. It's just beautiful!

I’m loving the art in this set. Even a lot of the commons are stunning. But I’m getting absolutely murdered by the pull rate.
I’ve opened over 40 packs and I haven’t pulled a single SIR or gold card. I haven’t even pulled an Ace Spec! Brutal.
Hydrapple ex special illustration rare is my chase! But I’m also saving for Surging Sparks so my best hope is either prize packs at my local tournaments or TCGplayer (honestly though nothing beats pulling a card in a pack so I’ll probably hold off on the TCGplayer)

I pulled a Terapagos EX (the most expensive card) first pack after only getting one EX in the last 12 packs (combination of multiple sets) I opened and I was about to give up on my luck.

Hello sir! I don't know if u're interested with it nor if you'll notice this comment. But I have 11 7-eleven Lapras promo card and I don't know what to do with them. If you're willing to negotiate I can sell them to you. It's just that, there is no close pokemon shop on my area since we are in the middle of nowhere, a province here in the Philippines and suddenly 7-eleven released packs, I got excited and initially bought 10packs not knowing they will include promo cards. I don't wanna keep them, I only need a couple for my collection. I really don't care if the market value skyrocket for this promo card in the future since I don't collect these cards for money but for passion and hobby for sure. I also want to be fair so keeping them makes me feel kinda guilty at some point.
