Thank for doing the video Scott. Good to have your honest thoughts. Unfortunately for some of us, almost golf ball may be the only way to go. Hitting off a terrace isn't worth the risk of a real golf ball smashing into something. Really appreciate it.
I agree with that for sure, and I think you can get a good feel, you’ll just have to learn your numbers on longer clubs at the range or on course. But for sure can still work on contact and good fundamentals on the wedges.
@Zebra Zport Golf was declining every year here in the US and it took major lockdowns where it was literally the only activity we were allowed to do for it to grow again, but I expect that to change back to the way it was before. Golf needs to modernize itself a little bit.
Im looking forward to trying sci core balls. Similiar to almost golf balls, but they are a little harder and fly alittle further , spin uo baloon less, shape truer to a real ball. However inside the will put a hole in sheet rock with a direct hit..but pretty safe overall and i believe with mevo plus they may actually read similiar on a 7 iron. And driver we will see.. My mevo is scheduled to deliver next week
How about using these on skytrak which is camera based vs radar based on the mevo? Also, what about foam balls instead of the plastic balls? Thanks for doing the video!
So you can almost play golf with almost golf balls! I love an accurate product name. These likely shine for short 5-30 yard pitches/chips in the backyard.

What's your thoughts? Would you use the Almost Golf Balls? Since we work mostly inside 100 yards with competitive players, I could see this being a possibility for us!
Any chance we can see some of the numbers you saw, or even your expertise on how to adjust the numbers on the machine for the irons. Like using the range ball setting. Thanks!
I have Skytrack and experience the same thing. Worst part for me is the almost balls deform after a session of hitting them with the label pointed at the Skytrack camera. Once that happens the flight is erratic since the ball spins funny.
Yea I just don't think it's a reliable option as much as I would like it to be. I love the product so people can practice and hit in the yard and stuff, but it just can't replace a real ball in sim use I think.
