Not very well...you will have to thin them a little bit with 5-stage power. That's why our PRECISION-6 is better suited for spraying thicker finishes like Latex. It has about 12% more power than the PRECISION-5 and will atomize thick paints much better.
if the aircap pressure is the same at 6.5 or at 10 on the dial pressure then what is the point to have it by factory until 10 and not just 7? wheb youmentioned that the aircap pressure will not change but it will have an impact on the life of the motor?
The machine is capable of giving 10 PSI sealed pressure, but when you are spraying you need to set your flow pressure as the motor cannot spin faster than 100%. If you set the pressure at the flow pressure rather than the sealed pressure you will set the actual pressure you are spraying with. If you set the sealed pressure the motor may not be able to spin fast enough once the trigger is pulled. Give us a call if you need a more in depth explanation, 1-888-900-4857.
You pay for what you get! Nothing worth having is cheap! There are many advantages that will save you more $$ in paint over the lifetime of the system.
just got mine today absolutely love it
Can you spray thick coatings like latex paints and primers without thinning?

you think I would be able to prime/paint/clear coat a Ram 2500 with this? - - - will have to knock it out in the backyard 😅
Yes, absolutely. If you are able to spray it in panels you will be able to do a great job in your backyard. We'd love to see the results you get.
why not to get a compressor instead of this ?
Dirty air, 40% savings on paint!
$2400!!!
