Electric shovel operator akong anhing Papa sa una (Melchor Adem) kaya gipili nako ang NDMC. We were 4 in-plant trainees kaya gitagaan mi ug balay sa NDMC duol lang sa Buenas. I vividly recalled kadtong GM house nga separate sa pikas bungtod, Buenas store, the Admin building and... the sayotehan sa bakilid, I think towards the gate. My classmates and I loved it dahil libre and super dami. :). I always walk from our house up to the bachelor housing of the Mine Operation lapas pa sa Admin building and near na sa ball mills plant dahil naa didto akong Papa nagpuyo and usahay didto ko matulog. Duol ra pod sa trabaho nako sa Instrumentation, then Communications Dept. sa main plant. I missed NDMC and hopefully, maka laag ko dinha puhon. For now, your video will suffice. Salamat uli.
Thanks sa info. I'm not aware anang Amacan crater - at least during my short time sa NDMC or maybe not accessible pa sa una dahil active pa ang mining operations.
When our department was tasked to transfer the radio antenna of NDMC from the highest peak beyond the mine pit to a mountain peak just adjacent sa NDMC housing, I experienced walking for many km very steep virgin forest bitbit ang mga dismantled steel bars. Kaguol for a thin college boy. :(. Bitaw, we passed also some PNOC installations for their geothermal exploration duol sa original cell site. Maybe, duol na didto ang Amacan crater. Thanks uli for the nice videos.
Been there for three years...we were housed at TQ2 near the big stone...miss those cold and foggy days where it took me two months to adjust...the chaotic laughter of the pupils and students during recess and noon break ( and even on moonlit nights accdng to the guards) the V8, our transport service and the most hated monthly socials together with the higher echelons and the friendly smiles of the parents...thank you for sharing this video that brings back the memories...
