Frankly speaking this is quite a tough song and Humera is the only vocalist with this ability, skill and control to bring it to perfection, and talking about getting inside your nerves well she has the trick to do that, with the high quality Pakistani pro music is like putting the icing on the cake.

Singer is Sindhi. She can sing in 5 different languages with complete command and she is almost equally popular in all 5 languages.
Music knows no boundaries, Good to hear from all the folks listed under ,appeasing the artist, more importantly, words count when there are one against other as considered on political and many other grounds but the atmosphere here is completely different, mesmerizing and compelling to make one think of how our lives are influenced by the music and talents performed from both the side, good to have coke studios as a platform for such genuine artists who aren't wasting their talents in stupid film industries. I've almost all the Coke Studio Sessions both from India and Pakistan, I certainly have it in my personal collection and always keep it intact and handy, I've like all the major performances from both the lands but Coke Studio Sessons 7, especially with all the distinguished artist performing on the musical scores are just awesome and great to watch and eventually listen to.
Thanks to Coke Studios, you're doing a great job, I myself, being a musician would definitely like to see more of this in the future to come and I'll always be expecting more out of it and above all, a huge thank to UA-cam - for you guys at youtube... I'm sorry, I do not have words to express my gratitude.

What to say such emotions and touching the heart... Have no words for the treatment of this folk song from Rajisthan... Guess our stupid music industry in India learns some bits from you guys. We have rich heritage but rappers and overt westernization spoiling our singing traditions... I simply bow in respect to you... Being for Haryana North Western India, speaking Haryanvi or what we call Bagri has some elements of Rajisthani and shared culture. Its amazing to know our commonness of our culturural elements.
India has too many dignified and talented people in this industry but they get overlooked because the industry over there considers too promote and gain via spreading vice and negative elements in the society as they are easily felt and accepted among youngsters and teenagers as its an age one can easily get fooled.
Thats why in Indian movies we see mature actors/actresses desperately acting like kids.
we should look our heritage also .....dont be so advanced that may fatal to heritage .........
There are many platforms for independent music in India. If you just look at one such platform ( CS india) and say that they are spoiling and not innovating is just being ignorant.

I'm sure Indian singers have amazing voices (that are yet to be explored and brought to mainstream), if the focus is shifted from commercialism to good singing and music only, then I am sure we will get to see hundreds (maybe more) gems!!

Coke Studio Pakistan performances are so heart wrenching and enjoyable because of the real talents of the main performers, back ground singers and all superb musicians performing in front of you rather than the Bollywood and Hollywood only acting/dancing with the background fast music etc. CSP should perform all over the world and be appreciated by all people of the world.
Most underrated song of Coke Studio.
Music can cross the boundary, territory and geographical borders. It has a language of its own which can supersede language of poem or lyrics. It is a mesmerizing song, a wonderful composition.

What mesmerizing and great video to watch instead of the modern day Hollywood/Bollywood foolish dancing/singing that to me is mostly disgusting show business and undermines real singing and music. CS Pakistan has revived the real singing and is a pleasure to watch the real singers/musicians and the orchestra. Getting musical instruments and talents from all over the world to create an orchestra such as this to match the folk and sufi singing is just revolutionary and great achievement even when it is in a different language. Great job Coke Studio Pakistan. Keep it up.
