That is THE jeep to have! Great build!
If you ever want to sell it please message me. I'll walk from Kentucky if I hafto.
I really miss living in PA. All that snow to wheel in. Great video and that Willys is absolutely amazing!
Great video! Love the torque from the diesel!!
Willys Jeep bashing through snow. Looks like fun!
Nice video dad have a great tell momma to keep warm and kids love all stay safe snow day I wish I could play in it take care
When I was young they used to clear the snow from the sidewalks using a jeep with a spinning brush. We’d run outside when we heard it and stand next to the sidewalk so he could cover us with snow.
Nice. We too ride on Willys chains in snow.
Love it! No technology, windows, power nothing. Straight up straight down. Couple snorkels and drive to Hawaii
Seems like all the kids in this family were out having a blast in the snow that day!
Grown up kids as well as the young ones.
Had to Subscribe after seeing your conversation. I have a 65 CJ 5 with a great running F-head, but love diesel power. Owning a few 4 & 5 cyl Mercedes, found an up coming 4 cylinder Perkins,,, this has pushed me to bid on this , Sky is the limit,,, Bear in TX,,,PS I hate snow, but love deep sand 👍👍😁🤠
You need a snow plow attachment for the Jeep!
Thanks for the video, I haven't seen so much snow since I was a kid :)
Looks like fun! We haven't seen snow like that for a while in Colorado.
Looks fun. I have a 47 and a 48 . It's a jeep thing.
Looks fun! I’d like to see that old Willy out in its natural habitat!
I love the self driving feature!!
LOOKS FUN 😀
Nice rig👌♥️
Wish you'd send some of that snow to the midwest. I'm so jealous. Lol😄 As a joke you should of just mailed me some fake snow.. lol 😂Thats one way to plow the yard.😂 Dont think you'll be working on that new project anytime soon. Ha Ha.
Yeah the yard is a big mess! I actually dig the dodge out and got it running yesterday. Hoping to start working on it soon.
😎 JEEP ...you just need a snow plow for the old girl .
That little diesel sounds great. Impressed at how well it runs in the cold. My 7,3 don’t like it cold. Here in N East. Lol. Sounds like a tractor just in a happy note ✌️
German diesel don’t mind the cold at all if they are taken care of. Both my tdi’s run great in the cold. My 7.3 doesn’t like to start when it’s cold either.
@@redeyecafegarage7484 I’ll keep an eye out that made its way through the snow great even with chains it was simple as great drivetrain 🤙
You have to love fresh powder!
The 7.3 is over there thinking about how it definitely doesn't want to start as easily
Looks like fun
Fun video!
A very good idea, chains are a must have
雪が積もっても楽しいJEEPに秀樹感激Goodです=3
Here in Montana, that's a daily driver.
Need a plow for the old girl! Cool
impressive !
Chains make a big difference in snow. I keep chains years round on my 4x2 tractor.
I like that color.
I did that stuff when I had a doom buggy and all you could see was me when I got done the engine and everything was covered with snow
Seems ur having all tne fun in the world 😊😊
hi there sure looks nice does well and looks fun . haven't chained the ol jeep up in many years but still keep them around . what part of pa r u located ? Merry Christmas john
Great
Packing snow
👍
Why don’t you put a plow mount on the keep?
nice
If you retrofitted that jeep with portal axles you will get an additional 12 in Moore clearance
Right on! I just subscribed 👍 looking forward to checking out more videos on your channel 🙂
all you need is plow for the front :)
How’s that little diesel do in the cold? Awesome video!
Better than a gas engine. Haha! No choke needed lol... it doesn’t have a block heater and it happily starts every time.
Which diesel is this? Sounds so much like the ones we have in the subcontinent.
@@redeyecafegarage7484 I had a 2011 Golf with the TDI...best vehicle I've ever owned!
Really cool! Does the Jeep have a 4-sp? 2-sp transfer case? Locking diff (front and/or rear)? Thanks and great video!
Thanks! i upgraded to a t-18 4speed, the transfer case is a super 18(dana 20 case) axles are stock dana 25/41 with lockers in both and 5:38 gears. I have a Saturn overdrive in it as well.
@@redeyecafegarage7484 Thank you for the response. I am absolutely loving your "toy". What is the top speed and what type of engine is in it? Would you consider it reliable? Thanks!
@@brentcos9370 thank you! This Jeep is extremely reliable. That’s the beauty of diesels. Top speed is really not a concern us old Jeep owners worry much about. They weren’t made to go fast. This Jeep will go way faster than you want to go. They are most enjoyable in the 35-45 range. If I’m on the open road I’ll cruise around 55 but that’s as fast as I care to go. I actually just made a video about this. I’ll post the Link in a comment below. Thanks!
@@brentcos9370 here’s the video about Jeep speed. ua-cam.com/video/UWbo9fS2dpk/v-deo.html
@@redeyecafegarage7484 Thank you. I was wondering if it could hit 45mph and you've verified this. Very cool.
Not sure what i would do if i seen that much snow in minnesota, id probably have a stroke. Then if i made it through id buy another snowmolie cus i could actually use it
Cool Jeep! Why don't you have a plow on it?
I’ve done this many times. Put “chains “ on these Jeeps you can go anywhere. 18 inches is nothing. One thing you have to watch for is if it gets deeper 24” or better is that the snow can plug up the radiator.
@@redeyecafegarage7484
Sorry can’t go back 60 years ago to take the pictures
@@redeyecafegarage7484 Well when I was young and stupid we used to load up to 12 or more plus the driver, and equipment on a Willis jeep, X ww2, and go up to our local ski hill That would not be allowed this day and age. The Willis jeep was one of the best things to come of the War.
What motor did you put in ?
Vw tdi. This video shows the whole process. ua-cam.com/video/E75ZBM7H5tc/v-deo.html
Jeeps are tried and proven to handle any weather conditions
Как житель заполярного круга ржу не могу,,,, это он там с линейкой выходил???
Have chains cheat
Need a plow for it
My Ridgeline had to get me out of the garage with 2’ of snow in front of the garage door, then 12” of snow in the driveway, to get into the court. I tracked the driveway to the court, and didn’t have any trouble doing it. You could say I was relieved, since I had OME tires, & that I was having just as much fun as you did. I was the one that opened up the court for the neighborhood. That was the last snow storm of the season. Now that I know my limits, I’m waiting for the next snow storm! I didn’t even have to go to Utah, for fun! Right outside my garage! No damage either!👍🏻😁
Awesome! Snow can be challenging but fun!
