Even in Japan, as Shinran said, at the end of their lives, practitioners of Shingon and Tendai also aspire to be born in Sukhavati, regardless of their esoteric attempts to attain Buddhahood in this very body. In fact, this is also true in Nepal and Tibetan Buddhism. Unfortunately, followers of other sects far too often neglect to attain faith and singlemindedly recite the Nembutsu prior to death. Relying upon family members and clergy to recite the Pure Land sutras and Nembutsu after the time of death is very precarious and we should definitely not count on this as a method for birth, but it "can" work for some people prior to going into the bardo (before three days-though sects differ on the timing). A skilled Vajrayana acarya can transfer conscious to Pure Land in a practice called Phowa (utkrantiyoga in Sanskrit). However, without faith, such a person will take five hundred years at least before they can hear the Dharma.
So your saying master Tiantai is the incarnation of shakyumuni Buddha who gain enlightment and taught the world Buddishm... then you said he wants to attain rebirth in Amitabha buddha land. Sorry but this is not making any sense, why would The supreme Buddha need to be reborn in the pureland, when he already found enlightment. Theres alot of these confusing and illogical concepts that are prevalent, without any real answers to them in mahayana Buddishm.
I totally disagree also. Shakyamuni Buddha is supreme enlightened being and had already entering nirvana 2500 years ago. He had already entering Buddha hood and he can establish his own pure land if he wants to. He doesn’t need to take another rebirth as someone else to seek rebirth in the pure land. I also find this illogical.
