The Octopus has a submarine, a two helicopter garage, and a grandpiano? wow Lurssen did a great job building this !
and about 7 tenders where one is 20 meter tender which is parked in a dry dock inside the yacht with the submarine.
I seen many super yachts but this is By far my favorite 😍 ❤️ I love this because it has everything ❤️ to do

Dilbar is the largest yacht in the world, the gross tonnage refers to the interior volume of the vessel, Azam is simply the longest at the moment. Dilbar has much more interior space than Azam.

To me, Dilbar is the most beautiful super (mega?) yacht in the world. I love the design, the proportions and I even love the color scheme. The cream color with the brown-colored walls of the superstructure is such a unique color combo and it just fits the overall design of the yacht perfectly. The whole yacht is perfect in my eyes. Azzam, on the other hand, does absolutely nothing for me. Boring, plain design and an even more boring color combo...nothing but white paint everywhere.

@@sambaine9086 There's no such thing as a 'giga' yacht despite what some trash level sources like this video, will have you believe.
Officially, the industry only uses one term and that's superyacht. The terms mega and giga are pure fiction.

Why two helicopter pads though?
40 guests and 80 crewmembers. It would take a week to get everyone on board with one helicopter. Ha ha.

Octopus is a GIGA yacht. super yacht is for yachts around 100 to 160 feet long. Octopus on the other hand is over 300 feet long.
A Yacht to 24M , SuperYacht to 60M, Megayacht / Gigayacht over 100M. Imo 🤷🏽♂️.... then its, a superyacht is a yacht longer than 24 metres and the smallest mega yachts tend to be around 60 metres long. All mega yachts are superyachts, but not all superyachts are mega yachts. Mega yachts will generally carry larger crews to maintain the yacht as well as to offer a spectacular level of service ...😮😯😅😫😂🤦🏽♂️😫🤣😂🤣

The whole 'missile defence system' thing is an urban legend that has been doing the rounds about various yachts for years. It's a complete myth. If your writer had done any amount of research they'd have discovered as much. Please stop with this lazy level of superyacht industry research.
Would be a nice upsell, however, and I couldn't see how it would be much more expensive. If Air Force One can have chaff and other missile countermeasures, as many battleships do, then why can't a yacht? Even cruise ships have anti-piracy measures like sonic weapons and such. I couldn't see why an ultra-rich billionaire wouldn't invest in it. Kobe would still be here today if only he invested in a terrain-mapping system in his helicopter. To think a system that cost less than $100,000 for your million-dollar helicopter would've saved your life is a lethal oversight. Anti-missiles on a billionaire's yacht seems reasonable.
@@applejuicejunkie316 It's not a cost issue. It's primarily a legal issue. The reason military vessels can have them is because they're military. Civilian vessels are subject to a complex and rigid set of laws that make it almost impossible to have any form of weapon on board, especially if a yacht wants to enter any marina anywhere.
Those sonic systems you mentioned are occasionally carried but are rare because they're bulky, their efficacy is debatable, there are a ton of liability issues involved, and they require specially trained crews, amongst other reasons.
Finally, what you will find is that superyachts generally just avoid piracy hotspots in the first place. They're not typically forced to transit particular areas, unlike commercial ships.
