I simply cannot afford to collect a line where each figure is $50 at least. My collection is already too big so I guess it's for the best. Thanks Super7 for saving me money and space.
That gun in the bonus pack came with Vultureman.
Almost all the figures since wave 4 have been well made including exclusives (3/4th of wave 3 were well made). The delivery turnaround time has sped up. Wave 9 is making into the hands of customers today which was a 10-month turnaround. Overall, figures from recent ordering have become harder to find. It's 11 waves in with plenty more to go.
I like how you can have your own opinion about things it's rare....
One wave you might like another you might not you're never just on the hate bus or the suck up bus.

It's true man. Brian has already said that people can't afford to sleep on these because retailers are no longer over-ordering like they were before. There was a higher demand at the very start but the line has now moved past the core characters.
As a longtime S7 collector im glad stuff is selling out and S7-direct customers are getting theirs shipped first. Chrome Silverhawks are hard to find too 😂
i've always wanted an Amok, and as much as i love the Berbils much like Snarf i just can't justify such a little figure for so much money. should've been a 2 pack with Bill and Belle
They admitted that orders by FanChannel companies were way down, so by that perspective, these will be more limited and potentially more valuable.
I think the D&D animated line might take off in value bcuz it evidently didn't preorder super well.

I think the 3-pack is coming. Bill is brown and the other berbils are yellow. There will for sure be another release on these.

Im very excited to FINALLY see Robear Berbils in this line finally. Also so awesome to see Luna & Amok joining Chilla and Alluro from the team. I think all thats left is Red Eye who also almost had a figure back in the LJN days.

@@TheBoglin - I am so happy that the Lunataks will all become a figure at some point. However, I am surprised that the only Bersekers will have is Hammerhand. Hammerhand is the best of the Berserkers, to me, so I am glad to have him, but I hope we get the rest.
Even if he may not be as popular to fans, I want Tuska Warrior mostly because I had him as a toy. He was one of my earlier figures as he was mostly common unlike other Thundercat figure.

I think all toy companies will find their spot. Clearance isnt something they love happening so i assume all makers wkll shrink things down
Some really cool choices for this wave but still Super7 expensive. 55 quid for a Robear is just...these are already the same price as an Ultimates figure in a larger scale but now the small figures cost as much as as a regular size Ultimates figue in a larger scale. WHY exactly do they have to keep it at $55 exactly? They only sell them through thier own store. Is it to do with the factory? if so, why? And why does no other company seemingly have this problem? Or do they and we just never hear it about it? Also have we had Chilla already? Why don't I own one?

The lunataks look great! I’ve been only getting some characters I really like.(own 8 figs) so the next I want is Alluro. I won’t buy any of this wave. But waiting to see Tug Mug & Red Eye, I’ll buy those. My wish list is Frog Man & Zaxx. I’ve also got 3 of the Cobra characters from the Joe line. Waiting on more of those to be revealed
First of all, we should wait the final product! After the big mistake on wave 8, figures totally out of scale, i don’t trust in Super7 anymore!
Never liked the Lunataks even as a kid, they looked goofy.
The Mutants & Mumm-Ra were so much better baddies.
But I do want the other figs.. just not at the Super 7 inflated prices.

@@truerc there isn’t a single super7 figure that I’ve been interested in that I haven’t seen retailers not sell for clearance, so I’m not sure which figures you are referring to.
Exclusive mumm-ra, ghost jaga, glow cheetara, original thulsa doom, and more. As I said, it always supply and demand.
@@truerc I’ve never sought to buy those, I was mostly referring to TMNT figures, but these make sense to reference due to the topic of the video. And yeah, of course it is supply and demand 😂 The supply seems to vastly overcompensate for the demand with Super7, which is why Hatter made a point of identifying that they may finally be manufacturing less to address the clearance figures that happen with most of their waves.
@@reiddutchess9955- Well, Wily Kit and possible Wily Kat will definitely be difficult to get at a reasonable price.
Wily Kit turned out really well as a figure. Much better than Matty Collector’s version. The only thing Matty Collector’s version of Wily Kit had over S7’s version is the accessories.

In my opinion there is no valid reason why smaller characters like Snarf, Wily Kit, Wily Kat, the Berbils, etc. should cost $55 each.
If whatever arrangements they have make it impossible to price a figure/sku below $55, then these smaller figures should come in 2-packs where they cost more than $55, but MUCH LESS than $110.
Honestly the prices are pretty crazy IMO even for the standard sized figures. That being said, I started catching up on some figures after having fallen off collecting it for a while (but I'm very much NOT a completest with this line). Luckily thus far I haven't had to resort to ebay for anything yet.... though I am reluctantly paying the $55 price for those smaller figures since they are becoming harder to come by.
They actually did have a few that balanced out. Just not in lines most people collect.
Their Grimlock is a ridiculous sized hunk of plastic for $55. I believe Power Rangers has also had some obscenely large figures for, if not $55, then $65 instead of the more common $85.
Does it annoy me? Yes. Can I make a Snarf or Berbil custom this good for $55? No.
My $.02 is this is the worst for completists. Berbil and Snarfer at $55 are annoying but, for cherry pickets, they're easy skips. So my general attitude is that it's worth paying the $55 if you want them so bad that you're going to get a version of them even if you have to customize one.
For me, Snarfer, Bill, and Snarf were essentials. So I'm grudgingly in for $55 because it isn't like I could make stand-ins for less. And I routinely end up cannibalizing around 4 McFarlanes to get what I want, which is worse.
But I'm not getting anything optional for that price. LJN Berbil? Pass,
And the one nice thing I can say is that the only essential figure for most collectors that was a small $55 figure was Snarf.
I need Snarfer because he's actually one of the most frequent characters by episode count. More than any villain other than Mumm-Ra. I think he's tied for most appearances of the expansion lineup with Pumyra. So he's in the top 10 of characters with the most appearances. I'm not sure how far Mumm-Ra even is ahead because there are a lot without him. And not every main cat is in every episode. But Snarfer's in over 30.
Berbil Bill would be an easier pass but since I have Snowman, Hachiman, Willa, and Mandora, then dammit I need Bill, Belle, and Snow Meow to complete the team who took over protecting Third Earth at the end.
I guess my attitude is that I don't get too worked up about price if a character is either an easy skip OR if they're one of the last in a group. There are $10 sized Transformers I will spend $60 on if they're in a set. Because I'm in the final 5 out of around 50 of some of the sub-collections. It's like, "Fine. Okay. This sucks. You win. But it doesn't hurt too badly when I'm nearly done." I've definitely paid 5-6x retail for Hasbro stuff before because it was the final needed for some collecting goal.

I fully agree with you , specially on super 7 charging more on larger figures and same on smaller ones. I likely will only get Luna and Amok, maybe Claudus. All for a 3 pack berbils

When MHR puts on his marketing hat, does he see S7 staying in business much longer? Are they transitioning to a super niche boutique toy company? Between losing licenses and resorting to super-deep cut releases to milk every drop from the licenses they can keep, where do they go from here? Overall, it seems like Mondo (speaking of Mondo) and S7 are two companies heading in opposite directions. But I might be missing something completely. Maybe ReAction figures are cash cows (I could see it)
I firmly believe a transition is happening in order to cut costs, but that also might include overhead, which might be peoples jobs and licenses. I do believe this will be a smaller company in the next few years.
Dude, how long is your move out? I hate moving but when it takes you months, that seems like it would suck even more. I feel your pain. I am hoping that you are either going to have a vent in your next video room, if not you will have to buy a screen to make it look like a vent. Consistency is key.

Seems like it took an awful long time for them to get this whole production quantity thing dialed in. Ultimates have been going for years and they're just now realizing they were producing too many? I wonder what this means as far as MOQ at the factory. Less pieces produced probably means a higher cost for Super7 per figure, so I definitely don't see them coming down on the "deluxe" size figures. Seems like a lot of things are up in the air with Super7 these days.
If anyone backed the Cats Lair, they better be all-in on the figures. Like, c'mon. These figures look cool, for the most part, but articulation is always lacking.

*saved alot of money on these by exclusively buying only villans, do it with marvel and dc stuff as well, villans are my favorite they have so much more depth and charecter than thier hero counterparts and that luna and amok look amazing....

raising the prices on the large figures has a logic to it, but the inverse never occurs. Subpar 7 never drop the price for a smaller figure with less plastic. This is because that means Brian Flynn would get less money. you can see the bind he’s in. less money? no. improved QC? no. absolute BS and lies from brian flynn? only when he speaks..

Mondo Gecko isn't mentioned as being limited. Expect it to sell out eventually. But I think it will be available for months.

I’ve come to realize I didn’t watch Thundercats as much as I thought I did as a kid. Most of the characters they make I’m seeing for the very first time.
A thunderian guard when there's still Lunataks, Berserkers, the Demolisher, etc. missing, haha.

@@Pachinosin Several years to complete a couple of teams with a few members is a lot of patience. And they started the line using figures that were already finished. Not to mention how long it took for Tygra to come out and they still messed him up. Think people have been EXTREMELLY patient with super7.

How many times have you been let down by a subpar7 figure, yet you continue to give Brian Flynn your money? You even acknowledge his BS about keeping a $55 price point. The smaller figures will always go up in price, but the larger ones will never go down. It blows my mind that collectors know they are overpaying for low quality figures yet they continue to do it.
Well im a huge thundercats fan and many of the figures are actually nice albeit with misses and it’s the only place to get em so there ya go. I don’t pay for anything I don’t like and many of these I do like.

Yeah as some comments mention, I'm a huge Thundercats fan also but can't afford $100 for 2 shitty figures with lower quality than a Marvel legend.

Hi Madhatter. Super7 has the monopoly of the Thundercats. That is why they can increase the price as much as they want. Therefore, we will never get discounts or price decreases. As you say, "Thundercats are getting less and less available 5:36": that is what a monopoly does. Of course Super7 competes with NECA an other toy companies but concerning Thundercats line, it has no competitor.

Yeah, I'm gonna see how Super7's TMNT line pans out, now that they're doing 2003 and more original concepts. If they're more or less done with the Playmates designs then I might phase that line out in favor of Mondo's!
