20 yrs ago i cooked at a place where i learned to use one of these...we drained oil and used a hose with sprayer to clean inside and water was drained in a bucket or pot. after drying inside with a towel we pumped filtered oil back in...much easier haha
I have a problem with our broaster the filter paper keeps popping up from under the ring and oil pumps back up cloudy. Water seems to come out of the pump with I start to filter for a second and make alot of popping sounds
I use the 1800 model at work. When you have a fresh filter NEVER open the valve full on first time. Open it a quarter way to slow drain for about 30 seconds. That will help saturate the filter and make it heavy and hard to move. Then after that you can open it full blast. Hope this helps. Btw I am a Rotisserie cook for Gordon foods. Just FYI I guess. ✌️
