- Film transferred from a Nitrate copy of the film duplicated to 16mm in 1977 kept in our collection. Original dupe print was cropped in slightly on the Depue optical reduction film printer.
On IMDB we can only find a review from 1916, and no thumbnails, stills or videos seem to exist, the perhaps this is the only known copy to be seen.
This is the ONLY copy of the film in EXISTENCE (online yet anyway...!)

The embonpoint of these women! Enormous! A glimpse of my great-grandmothers! And to think of the boy-skinny flat-chested fashion of the 1920s! Goodness! Very enjoyable, this.
Lots of good slapstick comedy. Delightful old film! I had music playing in my head as I watched😅😊😂❤
I must admit that when I played to my family I had some other slapstick comedy music playing - and of course the sound magically lined up and really added to it. Thanks for watching, it seems this is the only copy around!
Surprised there were no dialogue captions to this film.Still, it was easy enough to follow. Interesting piece of cinema history.
My Grandfather would have been only 16 in 1912. I wonder if he went to movies. There were a ton of things I could/should have asked him. But I never did...
Same ….never asked questions I should have of my own parents…
Go to it, Patsy, use that rolling pin! (Or Matilda, haven't finished it yet.) Was the guy named "Pat" for "Patsy"? Very fun to watch.
That is Matilda with the rolling pin - Patsy is the male lead played by Horace Davies. I can't find much more about him - Live in LA, 1889-1970, stared in 5 films!
Horace Davies was the Tom Cruise of 1912.
Outrageously funny 😂😂😂😂 thank you so much! 🥳
Seemed entertaining enough, but had no idea what was going on let alone the moral of the story….
