Lady Noh:You came for me, my love. I can't bear the thought of your life... being taken by another. Let ME take your life... here. (Noh has defected) Me: WHAT?!

More so than the impending demise of Nobunaga, this song illustrates the undying loyalty of the ever eager Ranmaru Mori. His final weapon was the most fun to get...
After playing so much Sw 3 for too long and before I actually played 1 fully while being used to the historical outcomes. Doing ranmarus version of this stage after thwarting mitsuhides attempt at zurg rushing the south gate and doing the second phase of the battle(after No defects) with the advantage theme has never had me so hyped especially with having to reach the escape point with nobunaga and oichi with 4 minutes left and the fact that I can defy tragic historical events.
this final stand is so much fun! nobunaga is pretty much unstoppable there and when you play his side of it your carving up dozens of guys per swing and then of course it is always a challenge to take mitsuhide on alone and see how you fare.
Except even if you win, you almost always, barring the first 2 games, get a scripted loss in the cutscene. SW3 had hypothetical victories for certain other characters, but not Nobu.
this is easily one of the best/most dramatic levels in the game (and history cuz this whole incident actually happened....except nobunaga performed seppuku...)
@@randomperson3119 Whats even more important a mystery is the concrete reason mitsuhide betrayed nobunaga or if it really was him or even what happened to him after the battle of Yamazaki.
I liked him most. Maybe becouse he loked cool, but mostly becouse of his weapon, a mideval light saber which makes a nois when attacking. Definitly the best weapon on the world
Mitsuhide wins, but then gets hunted down by the most loyal of the surviving Oda retainers, the Shibate and the Toyotimi. Hideyoshi gets to him first and as a result gets the Oda's territory, before going on to be the first person to unify Japan. Then when he dies, Mitsunari and Ieyasu (who felt Hideyori, Hideyoshi's son was inept) clash over the land and Ieyasu becomes the second person to unify Japan.
Alex Fiji Yes, except that the Samurai Warriors version loosely follows historical records. In history, this is where Nobunaga Oda and Ranmaru Mori both perished during Mitsuhide Akechi's rebellion. Ranmaru was the one who set Honnoji in flames under Nobunaga's orders and after a last stand, they committed seppuku. Onimusha's version is more or less the same except that it has some major changes to its historical version. You can find out for yourself.

Me: WHAT?!
Yandere at its finest...
Its also easily the most annoying part of the game when not played as Nobunaga
It's even more annoying in Noh's story because both Oda and Akechi are your enemies.
@@MastersDefender Tbh the main Noh story which you need to guide nobunaga to the escape point is most frustrating since the ai keep stopping for peons
“Mitsuhide... is that your answer?”
“I do not know, but I will say one thing... There will be no more sorrow.”

*THE ENEMY IS AT HONNOJI!*
the best honnouji theme song,it clearly expresses that a fucking place is burning,a traitor have rised up,and the demon king is about to die!

samurai warriors 1 had such badass soundtracks

the legacy of nobunaga oda shall never fade.
Yep, Honno-ji is a temple in Kyoto where Mitsuhide betrayed Nobunaga and he was forced to commit seppuku.
I love this song! Nobunaga Oda is the best Worior in this game and this is my favorite Map! :') thank you soooo much!

戦国無双はね!そのステージの初期のBGMが1番いいんです!!

Do we really have information on what happened there? Or is it just speculation?
@@randomperson3119 Nobunaga's body was never found, so the only logical speculation is that he was burned to death.
@@windyhead7960 Yea and because his body was never found the rumour of him being demon king happened XD
@@illumination_0109 A rumor that he cultivated in life, unlike Vlad III.

This is definately a stand out track from the first game =D.
The stage where everyone gets rekted by Mitsuhide :D
Anyone hear the voices in the background..you have to listen closely.:D
Nobunaga's card should be Dark, not Earth.
Trueee
Fire attack unit! Begin preparations!
This cards are so cool

All this happened only cause Nobunaga was sucha genius but was sadly betrayed by Mitsuhide

Thank you very much.
i think the order of rule in SW2 is Nobunaga, shingen, Kenshin. then Hideyoshi, and ieyasu. idk after that
pretty cool though
the three biggest apperances of generals in SW2 is oda nobunaga, ileyasu tokagawa, shingan takeda,
@Grays83718
he meant in Samurai warriors 2, you need to clear magoichi saika and mitsuhide akechi's story mode in order to unlock nobunaga Oda.
Chaos mode is intense
Mitsuhide Akechi.
I think dark would be more appropriate than earth.
The enemy
no created them from a website
i SAY THiS iS THE ONLi SONG THAT GOES WiT NOBUNAGA [MA OPiNiON]
are those actual yugioh cards? just curious
I'm rooting for Mitsuhide on this one, guys.
The only kind of Honnoji i know is Honnoji temple, and that place i know from Onimusha 3 Demon siege. Is it the same thing?

They should have put this in WO3.....
what do mean by that?
the card should be dark
