The country with the nearest coastline to where they get picked up is Lybia. So Lybia should let them in. Those dinghies set out to sea lacking fuel, food and water for the voyage across the Mediterranean. But that is not their goal. They set out to sea to hook up with the NGO ferries who bring them to Europe. At least until the new Italian government was sworn in. If the Mayor of Sicily wants to let them in let them stay in Sicily. I wonder what the Sicilians will think when there are hundreds of thousands of them living on their Island.
