When I was younger, I didn't understand why I cried to this song. Listening to it now, I totally get it and now I'm sitting in a puddle of my own tears..
Big hugs, I think children or teenagers are much more susceptible to emotions then adults, I also use to cry to certain songs and I didn't understand why. It's weird though. XD
i agree, i cried listening to this song, its so "me".....its incredibly sad when you have to grow up and its harder to believe in fairies, the world is just a little colder and darker as you get older....
THE most under-rated and under-appreciated Disney song of all-time. I bought Disney's Freatest volume 3 after a long period because I didn't think I found it to be a good value, given the obvious hits on Vol 1 & 2. I was wrong. This song alone was worth it.
This song made me cry. The lyrics and music are so amazing. It really touches you, especially with everything that's going on in the world today. It's not as easy to believe in things anymore.
It was originally written and sung for the movie by Jonatha Brooke. It appears with her singing it on one of the "greateast Disney Hits" CD's! It is her song.
this is sad from most of us that grew up watching these disney movies like peter pan, back then when we had no worries nothing to stress abt but now we're all grown up so reminiscing on those days where we would never feel tht way again is quite upsetting:''( especially gor those who r graduating..
wow she did great in the performance and she had a strong voice I was impressed. Most people don't really sound good live without the auto tune but she was great! Love you Jonatha Brooke!
Before you tell me to shut up I just want to appreciate this emotional song. I used to watch Peter Pan a lot with my sisters and my late mother back when we were little and dreamy. Many years later, looking at how we grew up and how life shows its struggle and difficulties, I realize that each of us has probably lose a little faith, trust and magic inside. We become too caught up in reality that sometimes we forget to dream. This song reminds me to, as cliche as this may sound, have a little more faith in life. Looking at how the first quarter of 2020 has become, it sure isn't easy for me and probably not less harder for everyone too, but I think it's worth believing that better days will come. Thank you for singing this wonderful song.
that is soo true:( even reminiscing on like 2 years ago makes me sad... u know i used to believe in fairies when i was a kid:P thinking about them used to make me feel so happy:)

This is so beautiful. Both Jonatha Brookes and Jesse McCartney do a great job on this song.

2020 anyone? just me? ok.

so beautiful she is amazing
great song, very beautiful
How beautiful to see her sing this live, and to explain how she came about writing this song. I LOVE it! ^_^
Oh, gosh that was amazing! Love this song
this song reminds me a little bit of : Beautiful by Christina Aguilere in the beginning :) It's beautiful!
@yash55281 Jonatha wrote the song, and sang it on the original Disney soundtrack! I got it from the original Disney greatest hits disks.
that is soo true:( even reminiscing on like 2 years ago makes me sad... u know i used to believe in fairies when i was a kid:P thinking about them used to make me feel so happy:)
This is my song. I luv it 💜
&& P.s: Jonatha Brooke, you have a beautiful voice (:
Fantastic! I have been searching for this song - thank you so much! Beautiful song, woman, voice and talent!
i grew up watching peter pan, i luv this, i appreciate it =)
This is beautiful! I usually don't like live versions of any song, but this is good. She sounds so young here (she's 45 now, just so you know).
great song
Wow!
This is so goods, Though the song its a little sad.
2019 anyone?
amazing
Disneyland magic morning years I'll try. 65th anniversary
Whos here on 2019?
this song is simple yet profound and meaningful. Her voice suits this song. Even Jesse Mccartney's version does not even come close to her version.
I will try..i wont grow up no matter how old i am now matter how" my whole world is changing"
Wow, this is in Denmark, I live there. But I'm a huge fan of jesse, and his version is so much better.
I watched "HOOK" and it was so sad because that means....peter is old....and it also means no chance for another movie....
@HousleyMike It's about Jane, from "Return to Never Land," a 2002 theatrical sequel to Disney's "Peter Pan."
I'll keep trying
i watched the movie today
I sware, i thought she was like, 20. She sounds so young. Great song though.
thers a academy...award
old soul hon...
u see what we...cant
I'll Try... :'(
A little fast, but it's nice...
Beautiful =D
Kudos for working with Lucy Kaplansky!
Keep believing he is.
@yash55281 who's "jesse mccarteney" ?
@yash55281 Jonatha's
She sounds so much like Colbie Cailat
T.T
It's really annoying how the audience is laughing throughout the song.
I would like throw my keyboard at all of them, seriously.
@jilljoanna You filmed this live? Nice spot you got there. :)
..she's cute ..:)
jonnathan brokee music piter pan yes
Lovely song. Hope you like our cover with acoustic guitar :)
Return to Neverland was somewhat disappointing. It seemed to me that she was the only person who made an attempt to put some soul to this film.
walt...anahiem ca
she looks a bit like Celine Dion
hahahaha, she made fun of the movie :D
Her live performance here seems rushed.
you were never a child boule...
