I wore a Too Faced palette on my wedding day 25 years ago. I am not that fond of their eyeshadows after discovering Indie brands. They are just so much better. But I wish the Italian Spritz was better-the color story is nice.
They were the gold standard years back along with Urban Decay, now indie brands have totally knocked them out!
this one looks the best on you than the other palettes!

The smashbox halo is the longest wearing glowy tint I've ever used.

It's snowing today in Wisconsin. Last week it was in the 80's. We rarely get spring or fall anymore. Winter and summer are very long. Spring and fall are like a week each 😅

I am trying to pan the wet n wild essence by using it to wet my sponge and squeeze it out. I also use it to wet my brush (dip) and clean up lines. I will use it to coat my naked lid and use it as a primer, on no makeup days I swipe a bit of essence in my naked lid with a flat brush- swipe some of the primer powder over for extra help and I believe it does help.
A setting spray (soft matte) you may enjoy is the lawless glam guard. It is super long lasting. Has encapsulated powders and elastomer gels. Has a powdery finish. They may not have re done the pump so you might have to put it in another bottle but it’s so worth it to me. It’s better than CT!

Love your eye look today! Went to Vegas to see Miranda. Awesome show, but yeah, holy cow, we were stuck there for the next two days and like you said, I'm not all in, either. I love your consistency; I love that you post for all income levels; and truly the best is sometimes the least expensive and sometimes the other way around and none of us need to be obsessed with something just because it costs more.
How cool!! I’m sure her show was fun! I like country music! I definitely think the drugstore does it better sometimes vs high end. Of course the indie brands are gonna kill it with their shadows, they can’t be touched!
My mind is blown.... Of ALLLLLL the makeup I own,(A LOT for a non UA-camr) I don't know of one Two-faced product... I'm gonna have to check tomorrow.

I'm glad that Nikki was able to correct the powder formula before any mass ship-outs. That would have been an awful day if she had to go through what Jaclyn went through with her lipsticks. Hey Steph! Just curious if you ever review jeffree star pallets?? I know he’s got a lot of controversy around him, but his shadows are like the best!!
He has a great formula I do agree. I use to in the past, but since I'm not sure how many of you all feel I just refrain. I was actually thinking about maybe picking up something from his line later this year, but we'll see.

Thank you for telling us the Lancome foundation was reformulated. The concealer has the old number system so now I need to go and check out the new formula. It was my favorite full coverage foundation 😢 Rachelle in Seattle
Lancome concealer has not been reformulated YET, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time!
I love the eye look! I’m glad I passed in the Italian Spritz palette! I love my Klarity safari palette! I can’t wait for the Aloha palette I know it’s going to be stunning ❤ I am glad the Valentino concealer is not good so I can just stuff to one high end concealer-Dior😂 I really appreciate you trying both indie, mainstream and high end makeup it really helps❤

I like your hair with your roots darker. :). I always do a root smudge/shadow when I highlight my hair. I have darker eyebrows, and I think that makes the darker roots look good. Anyway, you look beautiful and I appreciate these videos where you check back in on all the products you tried during the month. Also, congratulations on the Rare Beauty PR! You put so much work into your videos, you truly deserve recognition.

I was going to get the milk makeup matte setting spray but was shocked at the price, it being £37 which is way more than Charlotte Tilbury, ABH, Mac etc which are all in the £25-18 range. I was disappointed in the Rare beauty lip oils. I think I will stick to normal lipsticks and liquid lipsticks, as lip tints aren't for me and I did not find them hydrating like regular lip oils
Yeah they are very different than traditional lip oils. Much thinner of a formula. I think they should have called them stains instead of oils.

Hi Steff I'm not sure if you saw the comment I made on I think it was two videos ago but I was asking your opinion on the makeup forever HD invisible cover wear and that I totally ordered the wrong color in the Estee Lauder it was way too light and I was so upset but I did mix in a couple of my dark foundations and it worked but by itself it is so beautiful I actually tried it this morning and then use some bronzer and it helps but it really is beautiful on my fifty-two-year-old skin and I hate having to mix it I might just order another one even though I shouldn't but people please hit the like button and subscribe because Steff is absolutely amazing at doing makeup and I have learned so much from her❤️💯😍🌟🤗🌻🥰💋🌹. I forgot to tell you I ordered the Berry iced from sugar drizzle so that is going to be my first time trying and indy brand and I am super excited. I did want to try something from blend bunny but the pallets were just not in my price range at least not for now but I do plan on getting one of their pallets because like you said it's such an easy color story and you can just go down a row and then when I feel more comfortable like you maybe I could mix and match
I'm glad you were able to make the shades work! it's always hard to get it right. Blend Bunny is definitely worth add to your stash sometime this year. They are a beautiful brand.
@SteffsBeautyStash you know what I think I am just going to splurge and get the one pallet that you talked about last. Can you tell me what it was called the last palette you talked about from blend bunny that's the one I want
I'd suggest you start with All Done Up or the Blends palette (if you use colorful mattes). All Done Up is their only palette with both amazing, long-wearing, high shine shimmers and mattes. The rest have ok shimmers and great mattes. The shimmers in the other palettes are often putty like, just not the best Ive tried; but they are still pretty just don't the best.

Thats disappointing from IT. I use their full coverage Bye Bye Under eye concealer almost every time I skip liquid foundation. It fully covers everything. I especially like it around the mouth because since it's emollient, it melts into all the texture/fine lines there. Need to keep an eye on it for longevity, because I always have to touch up no matter what (oily skin), so everything that has decent longevity [regardless of pricepoint] seems to last similarly.
That's an total full coverage concealer and this new one is no where near that one.

Does L'Oreal own the UD line now? That might explain the current color selections.
Of course you can return EVERY rubbish product - just take a mini vid or a pic and use it in the year-end vid. Makeup isn't cheap, and the amount you buy certainly justifies making returns when necessary!!
As someone with dry skin, I buy the foundations you don't like 😅😅.
As for concealers, I'm really fed up with brands labelling a concealer as "full coverage" when, in reality, it's a medium at best 😡😡 - I do have dark undereye circles due to chronic pain and meds, therefore, I'm only looking for a good full coverage concealer. Without you and other YT'rs, I would have wasted so much money because a brand chose to misinform (lie) about the expected performance of a product.
Atm, I'm enjoying the Chanel Le Teint Ultra and the blusher Quintessence from the Joues Contraste collection. I've bought, but not yet received, the Guerlain foundation and some other bits that I just can't remember 🙈.
Oh yes, I got the two new Sonia G travel brushes, and I'm absolutely in love with them. Their size is adorable and actually lends itself to lovely applications ☺️
