Some people need to have humor in their blood. Don't take this ad as an advertisement on how to act in real life. Loosen up a bit and enjoy the lighter side of things. I just happen to love this commercial.
The “kontrabida stare” on them.. but it’s so hilarious at the same time.. not all “kontrabida actors” aren’t like that but they’ll do their characters on cam but they’re being funny and wholesome behind the cam though ❤
Yes the video "may" have negative messages too, but I don't think there is abuse happening in this video. The actresses only "looked", did they abuse anyone? Did they hurt anyone? They simply stared. A stare cannot hurt or kill you, can it? The question is, WHY DID THOSE PEOPLE GIVE IN, THEY SHOULD HAVE STARED BACK! haha
Nadine Muesli 1.) LOOKING SOMEBODY LIKE THAT CAN LEAD YOU TO COURT...ASK YOUR LAWYER ABOUT IT ITS CALLED MENESES LOOK;2.) THE SALESMAN AND RECEPTIONISTS GAVE IN TO THE ABUSIVE LADIES BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST EMPLOYEES...THEY ARE AFRAID THESE TWO MIGHT COMPLAINT TO THE MANAGER. IF THEY ARE NOT ABUSIVE OF THEIR POWER THEY SHOULD HAVE GAVE IN AND UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION.
I don't think this ad is in effect "endorsing" bullying... like other ads all over the world, this one is intended to be comical and funny... so it employs caricature and exaggeration... if you think this ad endorses bullying then ALL SOAP OPERAS and TELENOVELAS should be criticized because they all "endorse" bullying, no? Well, yeah... this ad is a bit insensitive... it highlights stereotypes of rich-versus-poor, but I think it's also interesting to take note that the "rich" divas/contravidas portrayed in this ad DID NOT even exert force or violence. They just looked. If someone looked at you that way, YOU CAN CHOOSE whether you allow them to "bully" you or not. Funny though, how the other characters in this ad gave in -- out of fear? Fear of what? Violence? Oppression? (If the seats were not given to the lady, or the shoes were refused by the first one who got them, can the "rich" or "affluent" do something about it really? Can they sue? can they violently hurt the person? NO WAY, they can go to prison for doing that!)
Prince G. Binondo What rich vs poor? The second diva says "I want this" first before it was taken by that man. The slow salesman knew it but has no courage to take it back from the man. Some staredown is needed for the salesman to do what he ought to do in the first place, get that goddamn shoe. And the "victims" in both scenario are also (probably) rich, like the lady who was given the table first and the man who has taken the shoe .. At any rate, lighten up people. this is a very funny and creative ad.
Probably the first UA-cam ad that I didn't mind finishing. :)

Positive:
1.) Creative
2.) Original
Negative:
1.) Gap of the "haves" and "Have Nots"
2.) Power of Money is Abused by few.

Prince G. Binondo Okay, noted.
Prince G. Binondo Nah, it won't land you to court, unless you do the staring with your tongue sticking out.
What's this? Endorsement for bullying? What's those diva actually doing is bullying!
Gaash Solina I agree...THIS WAS NOT SHOWN on TV due to negative stereotypes of the RICH and POOR
