This was one of the songs we played, and I distinctly remember telling the bass player to make sheep noises just like mike Dirnt did at their live shows. As the singer of the band, we played this song not too often, still was a blast to play and is still one of my favorite songs of all time.
When I was 13 or 14 I was at nova in omaha nebraska. We did a group on the power of music and everybody got to pick a single song to play on the TV through UA-cam. I chose this song. Made my day, especially since I'd never seen this version. That was the longest year of my life. This song was one of the few things I was greatful for. This was 2013 or 14

When life gets hard I always listen to my old music. Greenday was the first band I ever got into. I was 12 in grade 6 with my American idiot album and Walkman disc player. When I was that young I didn’t understand the lyrics really. After 14 years I can relate to them.
