    I'm certain that the person who asks, "How can I be a good training partner?"has good hygiene.

    Coach, any specific electrolyte you reccommend? I do BJJ consistently , 4-5 times a week and I'm suffering from cramps

      Dr Berg's Electrolytes, also take ur time before and after training to stretch! I like dynamic stretches before class, more focused static stretches to end. Goodluck!

      200mg sodium
      60 magnesium
      40 potassium
      (Going off memory so I might be a little off) You want the formula to match the electrolyte blend of sweat. Put back in what you're taking out

      Other people already answered so i will tell you to consider other causes too:
      1) you don't drink enough water
      2) you use too much strenght all the time, generally during isometric contractions
      3) maybe you need to fix you diet to get all those nutrients you need from food

      A lot of the time, cramps are just caused by dehydration

    The people who i stay away from are the dudes who try to roll when you are drilling or the ones who will resist submissions. Also holding holding pads is a human trait in its self you either have it or you dont. Cant stand it when someone is trying to stuff your punches instead of holding them still.

      Salam brother. Try to find another person who is also interested in BJJ and then start doing techniques on each other which you learn from youtube or gracie combatives or firas' own work.

      @@khitir1500some other good advice would be to learn mobility drills, back falls, rolls, shrimps, bridges. Also avoid using throws until falling is like second nature to you and your training partner.

      everybody wants to be an MMA fighter or BJJ champ like gordon ryan. Now you even have billionaires like Zuckerberg luring in the competitive types. Your advice will soon be easier said than done.

    In training, clean as you can as a shiny palace, in fighting, stinky as possible like as warfare prisoner.
    The opponent should wobble after smelling your breath, like an invisible jab. A pig is dirty but I think he is surpassed by the bad smell of birds, so if your open your wings, arms, it should be like invisible jab cross combination, I don't want talk about the legs because that should be instant knockdown or submission, i mean be clean is constant effort so if you stay dirty your oponnent its wasting energy and time. Yea be a savage with etiquette

    deodorant makes me smell bad. chemicals aren't good. the rest of it goes without saying though. nails, showered etc. Also, people who take a shit before training, shower AFTER the shit.

    I'm a little bit disappointed in guys that the first advice to be a good training partner is personal hygiene and to NOT stink. Guys, come on, you're grown ass adults, you should know how to clean yourself.

    With all due respect I think peds should be allowed there is no way a man can train day in day out 2 to 3 times a day naturally without breaking their bodies down your body would not recover fast enough I've done training in kickboxing wrestling circuit training drills running swimming I have an idea of the amount of stress fighters put themselves through its an humbling experience they should be allowed to use everything under the sun to recover faster train harder to be the best because too many athletes get fail drug tests.

    • @TLimon235
      @TLimon235 Рік тому +2

      You can definitely train hard 2-3 times a day if you care about the quality of food you’re ingesting, your sleep, and you even do extra things, stretching, rolling out, ice baths, sauna, etc

    • @palestinenotisrael3088
      @palestinenotisrael3088 Рік тому

      @@TLimon235 I agree some people are clean but the majority are on peds and I think they should make it an even playing field you can't have one fighter allowed to carry brass knuckles.
