7500 miles into my 2024 Kia Niro, EX and I drive all around the map of the state that I live in for work. In and out of cities, especially major cities. Some days I average 55 miles per gallon. Some days I average 49 miles per gallon. At the moment, 32 bucks gets me about 500 miles. I love this car. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a compact SUV with good gas mileage. I will also say it is very comfortable and my daughter now prefers my car over her mother’s! Haha
So I actually just test drove one of these today and a key feature that he didn't mention was that not only can you set your cruise control on and have it stay at your desired mileage, there's also a feature you can turn on in the settings to have it auto update to the speed limit, so you don't have to manually change it as the speed limit changes. The only thing I know to be weary of though is it's inability to recognize deexceleration lanes If you take your foot off the break to give it a little gas because you slowed down too much, it'll automatically give it a lot more gas to get back up to the speed limit! The car has a built in GPS that gives live updates on the speed limit, an ability to switch to a split dual screen display, an engine off feature that allows you to still run other things like A/C, radio, etc., ambient interior lighting that you can change, free options for ambient soundscapes that are built into the car, and back seats that go all the way down for an extended trunk (and the trunk is larger than the 2023 version).
I bought a temp tire for my 2018 after one of the original tires got a cut in the sidewall that could not be repaired. I recommend it. As far as I am concerned, the original tires were the biggest disappointment about the whole car.
@@edwardpearce1138 I have a 2019 EX and it came with Michelin tires! I'm getting the 2025 Niro PHEV and had to hard pressure the dealership to swap the now cheap Nexen tires to Michelin - no upcharge!
Very nice review, especially the drive features and experience. 10Q!
Thanks! We appreciate you letting us know what you think!

I believe you can only get LED headlights on the SX touring trim!

Oh and the ability to turn on your car to preheat or cool your car.
Why Kia Niro not comes with side mirror folding option?
Kia Niro HEV SX trim has folding mirrors.
Does Niro EX has AWD ?
No trim has AWD…
I wonder, can you replace the repair kit for a temp tire??? It looks like there is enough room for it.

I like it. Hopefully, a used one comes on the market!
Кто нибудь скажет про надежность этого робота?? Какой ресурс? Как себя ведет на ходу, рывки и прочее… спасибо
Does this car on video is awd ? 🤔
Front wheel drive only.
Not all models come w adaptive cruise control.
Sunroof is a basic necessity so they should have it in all models
What?
Sunroof/moonroofs: restricts headroom. They can be noisy, even when closed with wind noise and creaking. They can leak!
Never had one leak ever
Not hardly.
Sunroofs suck
Only th bad LX has wireless CarPlay…the rest are plug in
That's so weird considering LX is the base model. What I don't like about the LX trim is that it doesn't havent rear vents.
That's so stupid. More for less. It's crazy how few new vehicles have wireless android auto and CarPlay.
I like Niro but…..they are noisy with a lot of road noise when driving….
Thats weird i had one for months when i had it as a lyft rental last year and it was quiet
I hope they lease these so I can buy one in two years when I am buying my retirement vehicle.
You said the seats fold flat, no they don’t, not even close.
Um you need air in that tire
He keeps saying leather but Niros do not have leather……
The "music" is really annoying when trying to listen to your description.
The amount of small "SUVs" that don't have a rear quarter window in the cargo area is really appalling to me
I'm gonna stick to the old Niro
Finally, someone said this. Looks too much like a hatchback
awww man I thought I was gonna see Bill Burr....*squints* ..eh..kinda.
