Yes I heard this on Walking Dead. I'm also a bassist so immediately recognized the sound of a bowed double bass which is rare in non classical music. I love how the bassist just whips out his German bow to add some nice accented bowed bass tones!
I just love this song. Has the same energy as One Week. It's happy, catchy and has some really cool lyrics. These guys are a pleasure to watch and listen to.

Other than classical, double bass is pretty common in folk / folk punk music, which is great because it's such a wonderful sounding instrument.
Honestly speaking, the line "[I had] love enough to kill me but was unsure of its worth" goes through my head often. Well written.
