I like the original better coming from tennis. Also, I have used a paddle eraser on them. I didn’t notice any difference in performance if that helps.

I got mine 3 months ago. I am still a Tennis player and this paddle is perfect for me. Great balance of power, pop, spin and feel. A great all around paddle. Great bang for the buck as well. I added tungsten tape to mine, to make it 8.6 oz. A bit head heavy some may say, but it adds power.😊

I got the original version and it is great. I introduce spin on my serve and it became more wicked with this paddle. I have used an eraser, and have not seen any negative effects after months of use. I have been using the paddle for at least five months, playing 5 times per week, and there is no visible wear. I love that I see ball dust on the paddle after hits knowing that I am cutting into the ball with each stroke.

Been playing with the PLE since July 2023. Love the long handle and the perfect control I get with it. I get plenty of power, but then again, power comes from technique, not just a paddle. Control is the way to go. Don't pay over-hyped prices of the Ruby, both of these are great paddles with less glitzy marketing.

Any suggestions on can I use regular rubber to clean the Kevlar paddles?

I think the general consensus is not to use rubber paddle cleaners on kevlar. Not sure that there is anything out there that is safe to use on kevlar paddles at the moment.
