Hey everyone thanks for checking out the review it means a lot also i didn't mention that it is currently digital only and there is no switch version but hopefully both of those things will be changed in the near future. The Mega Man Legacy collection was digital at first but then got a physical version months later.
I find this to be like Freedom Planet. Not worth the trophy list, but when it comes to the overall price and worth of what you get overall (many nostalgic games), it's pretty damn good and something you wont regret purchasing. Also, incredibly fun. Which is what games should be about.
When I had the NES, I had the opportunity to play ALL OF THESE GAMES BACK IN THE DAY! Now I see this, IT"S COOL TO SEE IT! I agree with your rating but could care less about Trophies! I do plan on getting this game sometime this week! Wish I could be there to see you in Person when you come to Dearborn MI later this Month because I live an hour away from there but I have to work that day! Had no idea that this Game was developed but I wish I could have learn more about it but eh, whatever!
My only gripe is this should have a retail disc release as I despise digital media. This is Capcom though, they will wait until sales fall off to announce a physical version allowing fans to buy it all over again.
There are two Disney Afternoon games on the SNES: "Goof Troop" and "Bonkers". It would be interesting to have these as unlockables. Or maybe they're saving them for a Snes Capcom Disney collection. As a little curiosity, There are also other two Disney-Capcom games for the NES. Not Disney Afternoon though: "Adventures in the Magic Kingdom" and "Little Mermaid"
I wish all of them could have been included I enjoy them all done playthroughs for all of them here on my channel love Goof Troop and Adventures in the Magic Kingdom especially.
I was hoping for a better trophy list. I used to play the crap out of these games, like in Ducktales there should have been trophies for collecting certain amount of money at the very least... I like trophies because it gives you a new challenge to go through and accomplish that one might not have thought about.
I'm going to wait and see if a physical release gets announced like what happened with Mega Man. Otherwise I'll pick it up later. A shame there's no plat, but I don't have most of these games.
Wasn't the trophies pretty lame in the Mega Man collection as well. And sometimes you'll get better achievements on the Xbox than on Playstation, like in Shovel Knight Plague of Shadows.
+Nickodemus X UA-cam climate is changing companies are ad boycotting and overall funds are down this is my full time job as there would be no way to produce the content I do otherwise yesterday alone I worked 18 hours. Why do retro remakes require you to play with the crappy borders around the gameplay? Reminds me of when the super gameboy did the same thing; but at least then it was new technology and the likely needed to do that. In this day in age I am sure they could just release these to fit full screen without that crap bordering all around your gameplay, or at least make it an option to get rid of it
+markseifjr I am pretty sure I mentioned it but maybe I didn't you can play the game in full screen or wide screen stretched. By selecting it in the options

CornshaqGaming That's what I meant. The developer obviously gets to choose what the trophies will be, and this is a lazy list, but Sony should've offered them a full list with a platinum.
+Twigg4075 with so many games each week Sony I doubt has time to care enough at least from what I heard Xbox requires all games to have 1k achievements aka the equivalent to a plat. If I was a publisher for ps4 games I would require the company to do plats lol
+Joe D'Angelo 20 bucks is a good amount of money so I wouldn't say expecting more is a bad thing plenty of games at that price level now a days or less so tons of competition for that money.
+CornshaqGaming but how many games at this price point are compilations? Including a few games which would rape your wallet to play otherwise, emulation not included. Beyond the games included being a huge factor, things like this NEED to be supported! As more of these kinda projects would be a wonderful addition to any gamer's library, and also a great way to preserve the past. Kinda like how the huge classic vinyl/records reprint trend has taken off lately. Financial support of the spoken demand for all packages like this is a must. It would only bring us more, while preserving prior generations of games. Which unlike the records example I gave (or any other format of media), really has no definitive answer of how to do so.
+Joe D'Angelo I am just playing devils advocate here but many have said this is to expensive solely due to emulation existing what is worth 20 dollars to you may not be worth 20 to others. Also others aren't interested at that price point for no physical version or for enough extras such as maybe a challenge mode like mega man legacy had. I supported it and would do so again if it gets a physical down the line but I also own all six original nes carts.
+CornshaqGaming now I'm just jealous because I sold or traded in my copies of each oft these games as a young and unknowing kid to buy SNES stuff. Great speculative foresight on your part holding onto these gems.

As for the "afternoon" part in the name, is it because the cartoons used to air in the afternoon?
The whole six games is definitely worth it for the nostalgia, and is definitely for the diehard Disney fan. Therefore, I recommend it. ;D

Nintendo has dropped the ball for not including this for the system. Or Capcom...you'd think that would have been at the forefront for the release.
