I just got one yesterday and I wanna do the same to mine. May just wire it to turn the fans on with the ignition. Mine in traffic is pushing 227. Then the second fan kicks on but I do not want it running that hot before it cools down. Moving it runs about 200. Builds hest fast at a red light
@huntermcnair7172 Idk if I'd wire them to ignition, but they definitely get hot. Mines never got as hot as yours, might wanna see if your cooling system has any air in it?
@MoswenMedia definitely gonna do a deeper dive into it. Just got it yesterday and seems to be too warm to quick. I got a great deal so I'm fine sorting out some odds and ends
@huntermcnair7172 A tune will be the biggest thing to drop temps, but Ive always been incredibly satisfied with the stock tune and its gas mileage to ever want it flashed.
Hey bro first of all thank you for the video! I was wondering did you put a fuse between the switch and the negative ? If you did, how much ampère? I bought myself a CBR blackbird and temprature rises when you drive around in the city.
The relays are a type of fuse. They go out if too much current passes through them. They should have an amp rating on them tho, if you're still wanting to fuse the ground. I'd imagine it's probably 25A but I couldn't tell you
@Mh_motovlog if you need a step by step process, this mod isn't for you honestly. You shouldnt be messing with the factory wiring harnes, if you mess up, it can be a nightmare
You ground whichever relay you want to activate. If you want one switch to do both fans, then yes. I don't do cookie cutter videos, I like giving people the mental tools to be able to do their own projects.
Instalation: switch to negative and switch to pin 85 relay

Do you run 2 ground wires to the switch? Doesn't show how the installation wire is ran? Great idea but doesn't show anything?
