Yauheni Tsikhantsou 🇧🇾 has a chance IF they send him instead of Aramnau. Best total is 2kg under Meso's. If Tian is out, he's got a better chance of Gold than Aramnau has with Martirosyan...for the moment.
It's probably between Li Fabin and Tian at this point. Something tells me Tian has a slightly better chance just because the prestige of 96kg vs 61. Who knows what they'll do, but I definitely need to see Tian v. Meso again.
@@tomstunden2137 Tsikhantsou did move up to -102 class at Worlds but I imagine that's because it was a less competitive class for him. Gave him the opportunity to be World Champion. He's since moved back down to -96 at the 12th Mediterranean Cup and Alexander Cup. The -102 class is a non-Olympic one so he won't be competing in it much from here on if at all.
