Kristie Riley - I wish my grandparents got to see my kids. I grew up with three of my great-grandmas, one of them lived long even to see her great-great granddaughter.
I never met my grandparents, not from my mother side and not my father side. All my 5 brothers and 1 sister did. My last grandparent(Grandmom) from my father side died 1995, and i did born 1996. I have 6 years difference to my next youngest brother. I am the youngest.

Even 30 years ago when my nephew was born getting a picture of your baby during an ultrasound was uncommon, but 15 years later it was commonplace for 3d ultrasound photos. So great grandparents never having seen a photo and not recognizing what they are seeing is not shockingl
My parents aren't quite this bad, but close. Now that they've been married for almost 62 years they seem unable (or unwilling) to talk to me on the phone individually, but only together on speaker phone. I told them the other day that if they would let me write about the conversations we have I could make millions! So funny!
My Grandkids hang out with my Parents daily. It warms my heart to see them with their Great Grandparents. I count my blessings and I'm fully aware of how lucky this family is.
That's awesome. Such a beautiful thing. I'm sure they love every second of it, you're an awesome grandparent to be willing to sacrifice that time with your grandkids to let your parents have it. I was fortunate enough to been able to meet most of my great-grandparents and when I was growing up. My grandpa who is my mom's dad, his parents played a big hand at raising me, and I loved them dearly. Having great grandparents is one hell of a privilege. I'm 36 and had my last one until I was 29.
I had grandparents and my grandma was the greatest person in my life.Fun to be around.Even had a great grandma almost made 100 y old.She had cheaky eyes.Great memories😃
People forget that ultrasounds weren't done back then! Things are so different today, my Nan didn't remember the birth at all because she was put into a "twilight sleep". Anyway, still this is too cute. :)
Jimmy Sandhu Not that long ago. I did not have an ultrasound for my pregnancies and my children were born in 1987 and 1990. Ultrasound was not routine for everyone. Only if there was concern about the pregnancy.

The other month my great grand nan passed away at 101. My great grandfather passed when I was 6 at 93. Good innings.
