I love the book and appreciate the message and the speaker, but I honestly think you guys would reach many more teenagers if you didn't try so hard to look and sound like them. Teenagers are notorious for feeling like adults are phony and/or posers, and once they feel that way thats when you lose them. We (adults) are not their homies. They are not looking to us for a bro. They can get plenty of that from their friends without all the awkward or as they say "cringy" moments.
