You know I don’t think his voice changed too much I think I just adapted more of a southern inflection on it, there’s a roundness to how he pronounces things now. Not too bad tho poor guy been dragged through the mud over this 🤣

I never watched Shannara but all of the things I've seen him in, he is always looking in someone's eyes when having a conversation.

Yes,and so did Elvis ! Feels like Elvis is singing just to you. - Austin, I feel, is good in Elvis role. Good and warm person,free and smiling, thinking. And also he talks with hands, too, and has a nice, low voice.

Really amazingly enjoyable interview!!! He's so intelligent and eloquent!! Also, regarding Elvis, Austin hasn't changed his moves, facial expressions and look, as people claim because of Elvis!!! His voice is still the same,just a little lower, but.. he's been studying Elvis for 2 years!!!
The host here, Josh Horowitz, got to interview Austin again for his channel just a few months ago, fascinating to hear them six years apart.
Austin is impressive on so many levels. Shannara Season 2 better than 1. At this point I will watch anything Austin is in and I am in my 70s. Can't wait for Masters of the Air.

I just came here to listen to him. Like Elvis, I love the their voices. Austin carries himself so well. In speaking, body language, the tone and sweet manner he has.
I enjoy his interviews..very down to earth..
I'm so happy that he finally is in the big league, sweet man was sick of those silly questions, I'm so happy he was able to show how massively talented he is, I wish him all the best, may God bless him in every moment of his life.
josh is famous to make celebs at ease during an interview with silly questions like these and make them feel comfortable, like a comfort zone. Austin loves Josh and the questions were not silly at all.
Regardless i'm glad austin became such a big star he deserved that

His voice is very different here than recent, he def changed his voice to fit Elvis more so and is still doing it for promo and so people don’t come for him saying there’s no resemblance 😂

@@vehzee method acting he probably will have that voice forever. It’s like moving countries for 3 years and your voice adapts to the country you’re in. He’s done it for so long it’s apart of him now

he spent like 2 years doing voice training and preparing so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just his voice now. It’s not uncommon for people to kind of get “stuck” like that after talking differently for so long

I knew I saw him before. Shannara Chronicles! To me, he sounds like Brad Pitt. Elvis looks great and I hope to see him in more films in the future.
This was his transatlantic voice phase. Which is followed by his Southern Voice during Once Upon A Time around 2018-2019, which was before his laid back Elvis goes to hollywood voice he has now.
He is also younger in this interview. He was vocally trained to speak like Elvis for two years. I think it’ll take come time to come out of it.
Yeah, I feel you! I’m Canadian and have a friend who moved to Australia ten years ago. Before, she spoke English with a Canadian accent, but now after ten years, she took on the Australian accent because of course, you’re immersed somewhere, you will end up with the influence and dialect and everything! Yeah, his voice went down an octave or some, but he’s getting older and he went through coaching and everything! I wish he’d lend his voice to audiobooks, it would be so soothing to listen to!

Came here after watching him do his gq thing. Why does he have to change his accent? It's for the movie (Elvis one) but it's just weird that he still has to do it for promos.
Of all the movies I seen about someone's life I never seen an actor still pretend to be that person while promoting the movie. I seen actors stay in characters that are made up but not a real person. That's very weird and new.
@@foul-mouthfarrah1158 he did method acting for 2 years, almost 3. He had to practice Elvis’s voice for all that time, you cannot possibly expect him to immediately sound back to ‘normal’ after that. It’s going to take time.
