Thanx!!! 🥰 oh that’s awesome. I just finished one In plush yarn to see how it works up. It turned out super cute, but I had to wait till almost everything was done to get the cuteness. I did though omit the first row on the head, and toque so it wasn’t a cone shape. Also. It took almost a whole 10 oz ball of white Bernat blanket yarn. Have fun!!! And enjoy 😊
Hi Rhonda, i am new to your channel and i absolutley love your tutorials! I thought i would give a little tip if you don't mind on your decreasing if you use invisable decreases you won't have the gapping and won't be able to see the stuffing! Just a little tip, hope you don't mind!
Hi Cynthia, I don’t mind at all. 🥰 I had another viewer remind me of the invisible decrease as well. Which I have done in the past, but wasn’t happy with the bump it left. I’ve since realized I was yo an extra time between the fl. My next one I’m gonna try and remember to introduce it as an option. And hope I’ve improved at it since I tried it last time. Lol. Love this snowman pattern I’ve made two so far as gift card holders for my grandkids. Do you think you could make a pattern of Olaf from the movie Frozen?
Just happened upon your channe, and glad I did! Making these right now for my daughter's mom in law who collects anything snowman but out of the 100 she has she does not have a handmade/crocheted one, my daughter said she has wanted a crocheted one so bad, little does she know she is getting a set! Hi Rhonda, i absolutely love your stuffy patterns. They are so sweet and you make it so easy to follow along. Please don't take offense I have a tip you might find helpful for decreasing without leaving large gaps. I use the invisible decrease stitch.
Hi IrishRose 😊 I’m glad you are enjoying everything on my channel 🥰 and I take absolutely no offence when offered tips or tricks . I have tried the invisible decrease, and I found it gave me a noticeable bump that I didn’t like. (On my red panda video) but it is quite possible I was doing it wrong also. I do try to remember to say your welcome to do the invisible decrease. I probably do need to give it a go again, since it has been over a year, lol. I think I was grabbing the yarn inbetween going through the front loops. My next snowman is made from the feet up , maybe I’ll give it a go and see if I’ve improved. Thanks for the great reminder to try it again 👍😊👍
If you go through the first front loop then the second front loop then yarn over and draw the loop through both front loops, then yarn over and draw through the two loops on your hook to complete the single stitch decrease. You should have a very nice decrease. Hope that helps. I can't wait to see what cute creations you have next for us. Happy crocheting. 😊
I’ve been working my up to them, but my imagination and hands aren’t working together, lol. I’m happy with the legs and arms only so far. I’ve taken the head and body apart so many times I can’t even count them, lol. And still no idea how to accomplish the beard and hair I want. But I started again last night with a brand new type of yarn and so far so good up to row 18 ❤️😊❤️ so hopefully coming soon.
I actually have one done and ready to video!!! 🥰 one’s normal, and I’ll be videoing the same pattern as Rudolph. I’ve contemplated lights or something in the horns. Maybe that to, but haven’t experimented enough yet.
I just love all your designs. I want to do most of them. I did do all your farm animals, but I don't see a sheep/lamb. Did I miss it? Can you make one? It would be so cute with the rest of the farm animals. Then I'll make a barn to carry them all in. Thank you so much!!!
No, there’s no lamb. ☹️ I felt like I was leaving a critter behind, not doing one. But I couldn’t figure out a way to make the head and still keep it no sew. Unless it was all white. And really it should also have a million little puff stitches for wool. I also had plans to make a barn, but I’m struggling on how to video it. I’ve had plastic canvas for a base for like 10 months. Lol.
So cute.....love it. Thank you for your good explanation. Do you also know the blind decrease? Then you won't get such big gaps when you decreasing. Sorry for my english but i'm from the netherlands. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you! 🥰 yes I do know it, but I don’t use it much. I will however be doing it in my next video, (sitting gingerbread man) so far it’s slow but going good 😊 your English was perfect for me to read. Greeting to you as well from Canada 🇨🇦
I have made quite a few of your patterns and just love them. There are many still on my bucket list to do. But I was wondering if you could do a buffalo, moose or beaver? Just some suggestions. keep the good stuff coming. Thanks!!
Rhonda, I just wanna say thank you so much for sharing each and every pattern that you create. You are very talented and creative. I absolutely love the grey sparkly yarn and was wondering if you could tell me which brand you used? I wanna make both of these for my aunt who loves snowmen and snow women
You are so welcome, I’m glad you are enjoying crocheting with me 🥰 the yarn is called soft grey sparkle, by Bernat (premium) I haven’t seen it in a while. Hopefully you can find it or something similar. 😊
Awww thanks!!! 🥰 I have looked into that. I used to do 15 seconds, only to find out that my editing program maxes at 30 seconds for captions. It’s a very old version. When I hit save it has the option to save to myspace, lol. I’ve tried newer ones, but they are way to technical for me. Like a 10 yr old could probably figure it out in seconds, but I can’t even get two clips edited. 🤷♀️ I do try to break some rows up, like when adding the legs or arms. Thank you though, this is a good reminder to maybe try something different in the future 👍😊👍
I went to u tube link but can only find video, How Can I find a printed version of the Snowman n ginger bread sitting down so I can print it and make at my leisure???
If you will staggger your even number rows when you increase or decrease , you will always get a round shape instead of the hexagon shape. Example: Rows where you sc 2, then increase or decrease, instead start with 1 sc, decrease or increase, then 2 sc, decrease/increase all the way around. At the end of your row, you will have 1 sc left to make. Same with 4 sc - start wit 2 sc, increase/decrease, then 4 sc, increase or decrease all the way around and you will have 2 sc at the end of your row. 6 sc, decrease or increase - start with 3 sc, dec/inc all around, 3 sc at end, etc..
That is so funny, cause I just did that same thing this past week. Videoing it right now, lol. I would love to see what you ended up doing with it. If you have Facebook, you can post pictures in the comments of a post or send me a message on my Facebook craft page facebook.com/ARtDesignsandCrafts?mibextid=LQQJ4d
Love these, amazing work!!! Quick question, what time of yarn would work best with these, still kind of new to crocheting. Cotton or acrylic yarn? Thanks!
Hi Amanda, I use acrylic, but that is mostly because of color availability, and I don’t have as tight of a stitch with cotton. What ever you are used to should work. Unless you seem to have big holes between your stitches, then try going down a hook size. I use the biggest hook I can get away with , lol. Glad you like them, and have fun ❤️😊❤️
Hi Rhonda i just wanted to tell you that i just found your channel yesterday when i was looking for a leggy frog tutorial to do. Needless to say i found so much more to make. I want to make at least one of everything. I love it all and i love everything a out your channel. I just wish i found it a couple months ago because i have a lot of christmas ideas to gift. I did want to ask if you think you will ever make a cowboy and cowgirl doll? The farmers and the fisherman are my favorites. Such awesome work designing these. I wish i had half that talent. Thank you for sharing your talent with us let alone for free. ❤
Awwwww! Thankyou! 🥰I’m glad you found me too! As I’ve improved some of my older videos are hard for me to watch, lol. But I’m happy to hear that there are so many that interest you. Actually as I did the farmers, I thought how easily they could look like cowboys/cowgirls. Make the shoe color higher for boots, and make the Jason vorhees pattern hat instead, and maybe a seam up the front with buttons like on micheal myers. (If you feel like hopping around between videos) 😊
From previous tests, the snowman part should. But you may have to skip row one of the head to avoid a pointy top. And check the hat diameter for size when you do the last increase row in case it’s one row too wide.
I forgot to tell you that I have already finished 1 and I am currently working on the 2nd. 1 with a hat and 1 with a cap, because I couldn't choose, so I made them both. Doubt problem solved Hahaha
That’s ok. You can instead do a three or four rows of single crochet, two or three rows of half double crochet, one or two rows of double crochet. Oooor if you’ve seen my Santa hat, I did a double crochet cluster of 4, sc repeat and it gives you a cute little bumpy brim. But you’ll still have to probably do an extra row for length. ❤️😊❤️
I think 1 thing the person doing the tutorials should keep in mind if they are going to crochet every single stitch on camera is we are also counting. The only thing is you are doing it out loud. I’m sure I’m not the only one that thinks this but I have to pause the video so I can crochet mine then I have to unpause and sit and wait for you to finish. My personal opinion is … I don’t need to hear your every stitch as I know you are doing them all. I hope this all makes sense
Sorry I'm blowing up your comment section but wanted to tell you my best work comes from your tutorials I've done most of your projects. I don't sell anything, but I have gifted a few.. always such a hit!

So cute! You do amazing work! Will you be doing a reindeer/Rudolph pattern this year?
Thanx!! 🥰 I am hoping to make one, but I have a few things in the lineup before I tackle reindeer horns 😉
I love your tutorials they are awesome! I'm a new subscriber ❤❤
Thank you sooooo much! 🥰 I’m glad you are enjoying crocheting with me 😊
Rhonda,
I just wanna say thank you so much for sharing each and every pattern that you create.
What Lil Cuties 🥰🥰
Thank you 🥰
Your tutorials are amazing!! Do you have your patterns written form at all?
Thank you! 🥰 currently I only have the patterns written out during the videos.
i sure do i am going to be working on then xoxo
Yay! Hope you enjoy making them with me 🥰
Amazing!!!! Is there a written pattern pdf for free?
No, sorry, I just write the patterns out during the video. 😊
They are so cute
Thanx!!!! 🥰
I love love all your videos....❤❤ but is possible to leave the instruction or the around more time..Thanks ❤
I am having funny making all this cute stuff animals..
Awwww thanks !!!! 🥰 I’m glad you are enjoying crocheting with me 😊
I went to u tube link but can only find video, How Can I find a printed version of the Snowman n ginger bread sitting down so I can print it and make at my leisure???
The pattern is only written through the video.
Hemosos❤
Glad you like 🥰
If you will staggger your even number rows when you increase or decrease , you will always get a round shape instead of the hexagon shape.
Hi Rhonda! I wanted to share that I used this pattern and made it into a Scarecrow. Would love to send you a picture.
@@rhondadawnbutler Thanks a lot for this pattern. Had lots of fun making it!!
Will this work with chunky yarn?
From previous tests, the snowman part should. But you may have to skip row one of the head to avoid a pointy top. And check the hat diameter for size when you do the last increase row in case it’s one row too wide.
I forgot to tell you that I have already finished 1 and I am currently working on the 2nd. 1 with a hat and 1 with a cap, because I couldn't choose, so I made them both. Doubt problem solved Hahaha
Haha, I know, how can you make one, but not the other. Lol. ❤️
I have tried and tried and tried I can’t get front post and back post 😢
Thank you so much , I made the little snow man and kind of winged the hat but he’s lovely , thank you 😊
@@JackieThompson-t7d oh yay! I’m glad you figured out a work around for the hat! 🥰
Chicken raid
Have do done Oscar. Lizard
How big are these sitting down
They are about 6-7 inches, depending on the hat, and how u place it.
What is the size?
They are approximately 6 1/2 inches when sitting.
