I’d say the Falcons know the season is over and just want to give their rookie some playtime for next year. They know they aren’t making it to the playoffs and have given up.

Baker just has this aura of absolute confidence that really rubs off on everyone... Obviously not this season but if baker has another solid season next year bucs should pay him and extend him before his market value at the end of 2026 is even higher.
