My goodness that is a beautiful bag. I’m not really into Harry Potter but I like that pattern. I did order one thing in recycled cotton the double eye case in butterfly by I will see how I will like the fabric. The performance twill is the best. Thank you so much for showing this video 😊
I love Vera Bradley bags and I've been buying them across 3 decades now, but I do not like the recycled cotton fabric. It's looks cheap and it feels cheap in my opinion. So here's my big chance to get all of my older bags out and use them until an alternative to the recycled cotton comes along. It won't stop me buying Performance Twill though 😉
Congratulations on hitting 300!! 🥳 That's amazing and I'm so happy for you!! 🥰 The MSSB is my favorite right now. Such a perfect size, IMO of course. I don't have any of the cotton MSSB's, I've only got the PT versions, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes in the structure. Regardless, I just love the style so much! And that pattern is super cute, too. I don't have anything in it because I don't know a single thing about Harry Potter and I felt like I'd be a fraud if I purchased this pattern! 😂 It's so cute, though, that I may end up just rocking my fully fraudulent self and buying something anyway. 😅🤦♀️ Anywho, TFS!! 😊
Thank you so much!! 😍 there’s definitely a difference in structure. The PT one will actually maintain its shape whereas the cotton one is a bit floppy. I don’t mind it so much cause this bag is one of my favorites! Hahahah I don’t know that much about Harry Potter either but I love this pattern! You wouldn’t be a fraud 😂😂 but, this bag is now sold out online so I’m glad I purchased it when I did! I’m super happy with it overall 💕 thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for putting together this video for us :) As someone who has a couple of the MSSBs in PT, was curious how the cotton version compares-the structure/firmness especially...would like to know how it "wears" over time, if it holds up well or not.
It’s always a pleasure :) I am quite curious about how this cotton MSSB will hold over time as well. Currently this is the bag I’m using (I’m in between Fox Forest SVT and this bag) and will not change out for a while to test the durability. I’m really hoping it doesn’t lose its shape and/or start to fall apart. If that’s the case I will no longer be buying recycled cotton any more. Thank you for watching 🥰💕
I just got my forbidden forest multi strap in, and I’m quite disappointed in the patter placement. I have not been very lucky in getting the pattern placements that I want. I got a full fang and whopming willow but I wanted a full hogwarts castle and a buckbeak. I’ll try getting the small tote to see if I can get a better placement.
I’m really sorry you didn’t get the pattern placement you wanted. I kind of wanted a full castle too but I was satisfied with getting at least part of a castle and a lot of characters! You’re always taking a chance when you order online 😩that was my concern too. You’ll probably have better luck with the small Vera though!
Forgot to mention this to you on IG, but congrats on 300. 😁 I like this pattern too. But the only reason I never got anything is because I don’t collect Harry Potter. Even though it’s my favorite movie and book series. I don’t need to go down that rabbit hole. I already collect too much Disney. 🤣
