In this segment of On Location, Coyote enters the “PARK” to catch a GIANT lizard on the loose!
Well it might not be “Jurassic Park” but the enclosures at Kids Saving the Rainforest in Costa Rica certainly remind you of it! So the “Jurassic Lizard” Coyote is after is none other than the Spinytail Iguana which grow to be absolutely enormous!
While there are many species of Spinytail or Spiny-Tailed Iguanas they all have close ancestry that date back to the time of the dinosaurs. No wonder they look so prehistoric!

I had one of those roaming my garden, that thing was huge¡ Every theme it was around we knew as it made such a ruckus shaking the leafs of our garden three as he moved around. Those are called Pacaso around here, and they even use their tail as a whips like a green Indiana with a bad temper.

I used to live in Florida and I always loved the way iguanas run. Their weird flailing gait and the way they instantly go from complete standstill to flat-out sprint cracks me up every time.
Also, the dinosaur mistake he made really isn't a big deal. The idea of birdlike dinosaurs is still fairly recent and most people still imagine the big lumbering lizards from Jurassic Park when they think of dinosaurs. It's a common misconception and a harmless one. Besides, Coyote's an animal expert, not a paleontologist.

Scrunor nah you do not. Chernobyl is actually ok, you are probably talking about Pripyat. And yes, there are some patrols, but town and territory is too big, and people live in suburbs, and no one really cares on top of all, so you can freely walk everywhere. Actually, there are a lot of fishers, some locals, and a ton of tourists.
And animals are perfectly fine. I can't actually remember anyone catching any mutated animals. Excluding cancer, there is a big increase of it there, but it still causes less harm than humans, so there are A LOT of animals. It basically the only place in Ukraine where wolves can form packs, I believe.
My uncle worked in an institute which protects and studies species where for a decade.
And about radiation, it is dangerous in 3-4 places not counting the reactor, but it's under the new sarcophagus now, so doesn't count. Btw, you can't see tge famous view of it, completely covered now.

When i was 4 years old i used to have a pet Iguana, we would walk him around with a leash and he would gladly stroll around our yard and neighborhood. I miss him, he was a rlly good and sweet boy. :( He was almost like a puppy lol )

Most reptiles have relation not just to lizards of the past but also dinosaurs, mostly herbivorous dinosaurs, I mean you can easily see that

Even herbivore reptilians will eat meat now and then. It's not uncommon for tortoises to snag a bird when they can.
That's why they are called omnivores.

Septimus Youtubus They'd also try to eat him if he got too close. they're very territorial. You got to remember that this is the guy who wanted to keep as much distance between himself and a bear as possible. A komodo is actually more dangerous than that. Considering they are only native to one very small island (Komodo island of their namesake) it would be a very odd trip to even make without a lot of other indigenous species to make it worth while. Considering the severely high risks of even approaching a Komodo dragon I doubt he would even entertain the idea of making such a trip.

I got bit by that whilst I was feeding it a banana and my little cousin who’s 4 tried to touch so I turned around and said no it might bite and sure enough it bit me on the finger and shuck it’s head and the top of my finger was hanging off I was scared I was going to get and infects but there were no hospitals around so I went back to my hotel in Mexico and they cleaned it and glued it so then my anti rapped it up and kept it clean and I only have a tiny scar but it they scare me a lot !
