Also, is the water line automatic? Do I need to shut off the water faucet before it overflows and open again every time the water reservoir is empty?

Agreed. THese products are nice but for the price they dont come with any videos or real reviews for potential buyers esp the klarstein products. Id like to know on what I'm about to shell out 400 EUR on before actually buying it especially if it will go in my cafe bar, where I need reliability and volume.
I ended up buying it. But after 10 months owning one, I'm a bit disappointed. Is sad that there is no other option in the market that does the same (water and ice while connected to the water source). The ice gates are flawed, they almost never close properly causing ice to fall on the floor randomly. I also had an issue with the water dispenser leaking. Had to replace the product under warranty. So it's actually my second one in 10 months.
