Hi Lucie! I have been binging your content last couple of days and thanks to you I realised I that I am actually eating pretty healthy, I just had super high unrealistic expectations of eating extremely clean an healthy 100% of the time. Thank you for that. Also I decided to change my relationship with food, so for last couple of days I have been eating everything I want, anytime I feel hungry and I am trying to listen to my cravings. I am a recovering intermittent fasting addict and I actually eat SO MUCH food now 😅 I am stuffed all the time, and can't seem to stop. But I believe my body needs it right now, and once it will understand that food will always be there, I will be able to listen to my fullness cues too. I just hope it will not take too long 😅 Thank you for your work, you are amazing 💕
one of my biggest struggles is stopping to eat before getting stuffed, but onde you start to notice it, you can`t unnotice; the hunger scale (5:37) is super helpfull, ive been practicing it during the meal, so I can try to stop at level 6... If I dont, when I get up from the table I realise im at a 8 or 9...
@@anabeatrichee I am happy to hear that it actually helps! I might just print it out and put it somewhere in my apartment to see all the time. Plus I also need to work on being more present, I am guilty of watching videos while eating as well 😅
Thank you so much for your kind words! Indeed, you are in this over-compensation period (much like needing to take deep breaths after spending a long time under water) but once your body recognizes food as always available this will stop!💜
Good info, thanks for the video. I try to get at least 80% or more of calories daily from unprocessed/minimally processed foods, leaving room for some kind of dessert daily.
I haven't thought about habits. Thanks for discussing this. I'm going to list mine and see where I am on this. I think that will help me meal plan better. Great info.😊
What are your thoughts on someone that eats very slowly like my mom could sit there and eat for 45 minutes and we are all done after 10 minutes. Do you think her way of eating is much more healthier? Thank you!
And I guess it's also worth mentioning that all this things are bad only if they are really habits. I think it's fine if you overeat or skip a meal or order highly-processed food for convinience just once in a while
What advice would you give if you struggle with ‘saving’ calories for the end of the day or not eating enough throughout the day because you fear you will go over your daily intake if day you ate breakfast and lunch but go out for dinner/ have a spontaneous or different new food? Hope that makes sense x
I also struggle with weighing food and not knowing what a portion looks like; for meals and for snacks. I feel like it would be too mentally exhausting to have to try and make everything fit in MFP to accommodate new foods, sos ‘easier’ to just have the same thing everyday which I know isn’t healthy, but I feel like currently I don’t have enough knowledge and understanding to move forwards from it.
The key to both these issues is to free yourself from the shackles of calorie counting and weighing and portions etc and to instead start listening to your own signals and cues. I have a few videos that can help with this like this one: ua-cam.com/video/m4TvcB8P80o/v-deo.html
Help! I have a hard time working shift work on 3 days a week (5pm-2am or 5pm-7.30am). My sleep is disturbed, high stress ED work, dehydrated and starved. I do my best to eat preshift but I might not get a break for 7hrs then am at the point of feeling so unwell. On shift is not the problem because I only eat what I take but it's the next day when I'm exhausted that I have no commitment to myself. It takes me 2 days to get over work before starting the cycle again.
What do I do if I LOVE eating at night 😢 I eat less during the day to make space for eating before going to bed. That is the only time I feel relaxed and if I dont have my food my whole day is ruined and I'm sad and annoyed
I like the information you are giving, but the way of talking is somewhat irritating. Can you just say a sentence normally without up-talking? I am not trying to be rude but it is impossible to listen the whole video with this manner of talking.

My best tip is listening to you, and learning to implement your advice!🤗❤️❤️

Thank you, and that's great!

Down time is potential prep time.😁👍
Yes, but also some down time is enjoyable!

Do the French count calories?
no
Most of them don't
You don't see these huge soft drinks on their table either.
❤❤❤❤
When I'm preparing food, instead of licking the leftover in the bowl, I immediately put dishwashing liquid in the bowl and let it soak.
Tha visuals 😂😂😂
Haha licking the bowl is the best part for me😂

Definetely!
And where the food was placed!
Mmmmh!😊
What a sad life
I’m proud of you.
