When Steve was about to announce the winner... he hears in his earpiece "read the next name! Now!"... the country written after USA was Colombia so that's why he said Colombia. The teleprompter wrote Philippines and the contestants at the back saw it and they were so confused no one approached the wrongly announced winner.
Only then they tried to console her after the whole thing was cleared.

Gabriel Tzukishiro Who cares who won and lost? It hardly has any baring on anything important. It's not like they do anything but stand about. That goes for the Mr Universe competition too incase anyone wants to accuse me of sexism. I realise there's some pointless talent section intended to make it seem less like it's based entirely on random genetics but at it's core it's a silly modelling contest that should not exist in this day and age.
