You should also check out another cover of this by a Korean Band called Kardi. The lead singer Kim Yeji is out of this world. Her voice is crazy and they use traditional instruments in their band. To be honest, it’s the best version of this song I have heard. It is epic. You guys would love it. Check out their performance on the show Immortal Songs as well. Kim Yeji has such a unique voice. It is immediately recognizable.

They are an indie kpop agency that formed specifically to give a chance to talented kpop trainees from the big companies, trainees who were about to age-out of the desired group debut window. They debuted the kpop group A.C.E with very limited budget. But A.C.E ALWAYS had a strong styling/concepting team with Regina Suh at the helm that helped them stand out; experts at using the budgets to their artistic potential. Now, Forestella is able to partake in that creative indie space with their styling team too, as well as with their own innovative crossover talent. (Idk who Forestella were managed by before, after they won Phantom Singer, but they were not promoting them the best, at all....) Beat Int. has also teamed up with a couple other promo agencies this year, so yeah, Forestella (and A.C.E, again, once they're all back from mandatory military service) has had an amazing 2 years of quality management and promotion, finally! I'm glad that they are reaching more of an audience than ever.

So KO WOORIM (family name first in Korea) has a rare subtype of bass known as basso profundo (profondo). He has achieved both his Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Music, Classic -Voice. Since completion of his bachelor degree in 2017 at 22yrs, which he did not defer like others but continued til completion whilst filming Phantom Singer 2 where Forestella was born, Woorim has been developing and expanding his vocal range. He has been working on his modulation, so when you listen to him now, that already magnificent voice has even many more layers and textures and capacity to allow him to express himself in so many different genres of music. He says he’s still exploring what his sound is …his #KOWOORIM # 000000 BLACK Concert in October 2023, saw him give his first full solo concert over 2 days and wow did we get a glimpse of the kind of music he likes.
