tires , axels , lockers , 4linked , coilovers , hydraulic steering and low center of gravity = it's going to do really well wheelbase looks perfect and looks sick with no flares with the stretched wheelbase and bodywork
Love the build... Would like to know more about the driveline... Engine, Trans, T-case and axles... I would like to put wider axels under my 86 Tin Top.
As a samurai owner and an 80 series landcruiser owner I can attest to the strength of the axles. Great rig! Sounds like you kept a Suzuki motor in it…?
love Zuk life and this little rig, if your doing another shoot, talk detail on the walk around, engine? 1.3 OEM? 1.8L 8v or 16V or the best 2.3L Aerio, 6:1 TK gears? 5.29 finals? ram 1.5" PSC? guys want to hear the X rated version lols FJ80 axles full float or semi
I was really into it seeing as I've been the owner of 25 Samurai's since 1995. Everything look great until the shot of the front bumper and the crappy welds.....Oh well
I cannot thank Matt enough for all the work he has done for me! Thank you, Collin, for bringing this build to light!
I love it!
You are so welcome! Thank you for a fun day on the trail together! Hope you enjoyed the video. 🤙🏻
What was ballpark cost to do all the axle and fab work?
I had a buddy in highschool with a stock one and we did crazy 4 wheelin in that thing. Never left us stranded
They are fun vehicles!
Definitely the best Suzuki I have seen.
Thanks Jason! I think there was some Lovell magic involved in the build! 🙌🏻
Did I miss the drivetrain info? I saw it had Land Cruiser axles but what motor-tranny-transfer case?
Looks like a really neat rig.
It has the 1.3L Suzuki motor, stock tranny. 6:1 in the factory t-case

Couldn’t agree more!
I shouldn't a watched this...now I want a jacked Samurai!
Such a sick Samurai! Great job Matt.
It really is pretty wild. Fun to see it work so well first hand too!
That’s a crazy built samurai. It looks great! I’m in Colorado myself and have a samurai I’m always doing something to.
That’s awesome! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. 🤙🏻
We need a Suzuki event here in Colorado! Let's do it!!!
Looks like they didnt even air down and it still just crawled up stuff, thanks for sharing

Axle gears, engine, transmission and t-case? That is my only question
What type of engine and axle gear ratios and transfer case type and transmission. Thanks.
They're not Samurai's anymore, They're full size
Runnin the stock motor?
Yes sir, EFI 1.3 with the stock tranny, and a 6.1 Tcase... It just runs great off road!!! Thats what I wanted..
What engine does it have?
Engine?
this thing is fucking sick!
Hey i have a cabin up there in placer valley.
Maybe run it over the scales. I doubt it is under 3000lbs
