Griots Brilliant foam cannon. It come 1.1 orifice installed and works well with cheap electric pressure washers. Big mouth so less mess adding chemicals and stainless steel ball in the straw.
MJJC 3.0 blows away my old MTM foam cannon. Also easier on the ears compared to some cheap foam cannons with their higher pitched induction noises. The aeration is a noticeable difference like you've experienced in the video so I can turn down the mixture knob a bit up top. Please try out the original orifice as well!
Thanks for the comparison Brian. I have the MJJC V2.0 and I love it. I, like you, want my foam to move down the panel and take the dirt with it. Also, the older version has a wider base which I prefer.
My guess is if both were brand new, they'd be nealry identical. The older model likely has some clogging or deposits on the screen and filter based on the amount of usage. I'd say you can't go wrong with either. Got my pro a few years ago for $55.
I use the MJJC Pro 2 with my active 2.0 and together they feel like Gods gift 🎁….I have yet to try the version 3; but until my Pro 2 falls part…I’m completely satisfied with the level of foam I obtain with my unit 😊 great video!! And gorgeous vehicles!!!
I just got the MJJC 3 and I have vey hard water. I find I have to use slot of soap. So far armour detail has given me the best results with less foam. I appreciate the solid build and clear bottle of the 3.
Thanks Brian for another great video. I got mine a month ago but due to the cold weather here in New York, I haven't got a chance to foam my car with it yet. Can't wait any longer!
I have the S 3.0 purely because it was a little cheaper than the Pro. I've been super happy with it compared to the el cheapo Amazon lances. I learned two things in this video: a) I needed to change the jet, b) the marks on laundry detergent cups are ounces.
I use an Armour All foam cannon. I had to put thread tape on the cup to stop it from falling apart when using it. Not much foam more of a runny soap that runs down the vehicle. The MJJJC would be a nice upgrade! Thanks for the video
I use the MJJC Pro 2 on an Ava Smart pressure washer P60 for home use- no complaints. Bilt Hamber Touch-less snow foam, just the best on earth for dirt removal. (Your Lambo is gorgeous.)
I’d be willing to bet if you put new metal and fiber filters into the Pro V2 the performance between the two would have been identical. Conversely, after using the S V3.0 for some time, I bet you’d get the exact same results as your current Pro V2.
Awsome video, I will use, for the first foaming the PRO with the runny foam first to have the dirt run down first and then when I am ready for the contact wash I will use the new version because you will have more time before the foam dissipate.
Good comparison Brian 👊🏼You can get a water filter system for the shop they run about $350 if you have water that is not too good. I have one it is very good to have. Thanks again for the video 👊🏼💎
Question - I enjoy detailing my black, GMC Yukon every 1.5 - 2 weeks. I really liked Turtle wax, "Max Wax" followed with "Flex Wax". Beautiful depth and gloss. I recently found out about the dangers of graphene oxide in the body, its really bad, and I will no longer be using or purchasing graphene products. Im pretty focused on Ceramic products now. Because I detail so often, I dont need a super long lasting product, but I do want depth, shine, protection and ease of use. Do you have some suggestions to replace Max Wax & Flex Wax that doesnt have graphene? Thank for your input!
@@apexdetail85 I'm not an expert in this but from what I understand, if you have a high flow machine (which it sounds like you do) with a small orifice, you're going to be pushing more water through a smaller hole which will strain the pump.
Another good video Brian. What I'm seeing appears to be aeration. The S appears to be lighter and more airy than the Pro. When was the last time you descaled or changed the gauze filter? I have water harder than Rocky Balboa and I notice a HUGE difference when I descale my cannon. Like night and day difference.
@@apexdetail85 guess that's it then! Do wish they'd redesign so you don't need to do a total strip down to get to the gauze. Thats the one major flaw I've found with every cannon I've seen.
The S line is more foamy. I wonder if you would need to work out a new PIR with a cannon upgrade and I have the Pro one but only use it around once a month so it will last for ages even with hard water😄
I have an MTM PF22 cannon. Thick foam looks cool, but I like mine with foam of a lower viscosity. I've seen videos with these 2 cannons before, but your video is more fun. When you say cannon clugs up, what actually clogs up? Is it fixable? Thanks, Brian.
So, this was a waste of time. You compared an old clogged up cannon to a new one. The water to soap ratio is not calibrated with the knob on top of the guns. These are pretty much the same guns with different bottles.
Do you use a foam cannon? Which is your favorite?
Griots Brilliant foam cannon. It come 1.1 orifice installed and works well with cheap electric pressure washers. Big mouth so less mess adding chemicals and stainless steel ball in the straw.
Tri nova and pro..
I don't know why they went with the narrow base. I don't like the idea of the bottle being less stable.

@@Carlos.Riverasame liked it better than mjjc and mtm it’s stout

The shop is looking BEAUTIFUL! What a turn around 👏

The filter is just newer on the S line that’s why it’s producing a thicker foam. If both were new, they’d produce the same quality foam.
You could definitely tell a difference. I too like the runnier foam. That is the perfect consistency for an alkaline pre-wash.
Ive had the 2.0 for 2 years it still works great!

Appreciate the time for another great video! Keep those comparisons going!
Thanks, will do!
My cannon is cheap one!! I said i will up grade when it starts failing. So far so good. And it's always a pleasure spending time with u also!!
I have the version 2 pro been working great love the foam thanks Brian
I use the MJJC pro regularly. Had to replace the metal screens and foam piece after about 2 years and it’s back to new. Planning to try the 3.
Thanks Brian for another great video. I got mine a month ago but due to the cold weather here in New York, I haven't got a chance to foam my car with it yet. Can't wait any longer!

Check out that gorgeous Poison Ivy HSV Commodore in the background.
The new foam cannon has a newer screen in it, that may be why it's a little thicker foam

Excellent comparison Brian, I have the PRO V2 and love it. 👍🏼👍🏼
I just bought the MJJC pro and I love it !
The Shop Manager made a surprise inspection , you're lucky it came out well. 😋
Oh my god a Holden wagon!
I’d be willing to bet if you put new metal and fiber filters into the Pro V2 the performance between the two would have been identical. Conversely, after using the S V3.0 for some time, I bet you’d get the exact same results as your current Pro V2.
Do both cannons have the same size orifice?
They both look great. Can't go wrong with either
👀What. You got an Aussie car! So cool Holden a GM collaboration right? So cool.
If you zoom in it still looks right hand drive?..
This is a right hand drive imported from Aus.
I love the V3. I use it about 10 times a week!
I’ve been eying those Mjjc they seem like some of the best foam cannons
Great video review and comparison Brian, thank you.
I still have a soft heart for that Lamborghini. Foam canon, original seems to spread nicer.
That glossy paint is just awesome.
I like the old MJJC Pro foam gun with the runnier foam it is what I use. The attachment on the 3. is nice idea

It is slowly getting there.

Looks like the Shop Manager is ready to go home.😁

I have both foam cannons, and each are great. I do need to get a new filter for one of them!
Great..... A new foam cannon works better than an old one with corroding parts. I think I guessed that before the start of the video LOL.....
which one do you preffer?
If I have the money, I'll pick the version 2 because that thing is indestructible! It's built like a tank. lol
Orifice size is based on flow, not pressure
Does it not take pressure to get the water to flow through the orifice?:)

Love these informative videos. Ty.
Awesome video and product review and comparison good friend
ill bet you had extremely old filters in the PRO vs the brand New S model..
Nice! Just ordered my 3.0 … don’t have a Lambo, but looking forward to using it on my G80 M3. Also, what wheels are those?
Been considering these lances for some time but how do you recommend cleaning them out? Also what methods do you use on the fabric roof too maintain?
Descale them regularly with CLR. I use Angelwax Excelsior for soft tops.
@@apexdetail85 right ok and do you seal them with anything like fabsil?

I need to descale it...change screens.
Is the Holden owner an Aussie Brian?
Not that I know of....bought it from one however.
The new one seems to make much thicker, better quality foam
Nice Lamborghini Brian 👍 NJ fan.
Right on!
