My dad passed away 9 years ago in 2015. He didn’t know how to say I love you either. In the 80’s and 90’s, I wasn’t a good son, didn’t care about my dad. But he was praying for me and eventually I accepted Jesus. I reconciled with my dad years before he passed. Today I’m reaping what I sowed as my sons are busy with their own lives, and I’m praying for them. God is good and I’m trusting Him with my sons. As we are God’s children, we must love Him back, His love for us is beyond immense, it can’t be measured. Give Him your heart today and find true peace .
My father is 96 years old. He’s always been as stubborn as a mule and with the constitution of an ox. Growing up, I was always closer to my Mama. He retired from the Army in 1966 when I was 3. My Mama died in 2007. I realized that we had never said I love you until after she died. Now, I don’t think it will be long for him. This song made me bawl like a baby.

I knew it wouldn’t be long. We buried my Daddy this past Friday October 13. I didn’t really get to tell him I loved him but we knew. We just knew.
