He's also one of only a select few players (Ross Smith, Simon Whitlock, John Lowe et al.) who are comfortable with 141 routes other than the standard route (T20-T19-D12). In a couple of Player's Championship matches this past year, he's hit 2 9 darters going T20-T15-D18.

And now, not only does he have a win in the Matchplay, he has another 9-darter, this coming in the 7th leg of his 1st round tie with Martin Schindler.
I've never followed darts, seen less than 5 vids of throughout my life. Random vid in suggested feed was Paul Lim's 9 dart which I had no idea what it was or that it even existed. Several 9 dart videos later here I am.

@@doraemon402 Fair enough. I didn't miss the nine-darter due to answering the phone, though, but due to the fact I had to pick up my dad.
In the meantime I missed another nine-darter, this time by Adrian Lewis, because I had obligations at that time. Sometimes life just sucks (totally a first-world problem).

Just a question, when playing 501, if you’re closing out on say 10 (going for D5) and hit 20 with your first dart, can you continue to throw, or have you “busted” and now have to forfeit the other two throws? Thanks
@@erraticleeme6760 If you hit the 20 with the first dart you have bust and its the others turn after your first dart. You can not repeat.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic. Belgians are better at football but not at darts. The British are 10x better than the Belgians at darts. The best player to ever play the sport is Phil Taylor and he’s British, the world champion right now is British. Belgium is no where near as good as the brits are at darts.
